Well i just found this game this morning and it seems to be very nice from what ive read.  Could someone post some of the more basic info on it? i cant find an official site  anywhere.... hmm ... and im hoping this post comes out right cuz all im seeing is a bunch of bars, not the actual letters that im typing.  But yes, some things i was wonderingg were the official site, beta date, how/if i can get into beta, and thihngsas that... maybe sys req.  but yeah im going to end this post before i get lost (seeing as how i cant read what ive typed).  ill try to remember to check back in although i may forget... if possible please email me the inofo at KGBDude1@gmail.com :) thanks much.  oh yeah, and i noticed the site for 1 of the guilds was a mourning site... is this game in any way related to mourning? i was anticipating mourning, played in beta, but servers were up and down, laggy, buggy... had potential.. wonder where it is now..

    well the main site is http://www.mmocenter.com/thechronicle/ , release is around end of jan- begining of feb  so the beta is around then, to get into the beta easiest way is to preorder, i think they already picked all the other slots but preorder is only 20 dollars and you also get into the machines beta wich is another game they are makeing, they switched engines and they don't have sys req for the new specs but i dont think there makeing it for mac, the game will have free pk, no global chat, mounts but not race specific but will have restrictions (such as a fairy can't ride a giant bear or ogre) combat will be like a fps you can use thrid person or first person your choice, you can have naval battles, make your own towns, make your own buildings, set up shops, hire npcs to help you or guard your town, take over territory, and with there unique AI the world doesnt wait for you, an example is a group of goblins get a quest to steal a towns food supplie then that town makes a quest to kill the goblins who took their food, you train in skills by useing them or i believe you can also use a npc, names won't show so you won't know someones name until they tell you, thats all i can think up on the spot check out the forums on the site im a beta member myself the game looks awsome :)

    hmmm, so like... PC's can get quests to kill, or w/e other PC's?   And the name thing i dont quite get... how do u tell ur target? like... other than a ring or something... say ur quest is to go "slay 10 orc legionaires" and u go to kill orcs, u wont be able to tell difference between one type and the other unless u can tell by looks?... or is that just with PC's that u cant see names? ... i dont get why u cant see names...  im sure theres reasoning that would make atleast some sense, but im not thinking of it... and once again ill ask... is this game related to Mourning (Blood Lines) in any way? ... lots of the things that are being implemented in this game seem like they were sparked from Mourning.  Thanks for any help :)

    That site with the mourningplayers.com domain is mine.  I ran a fansite for Mourning ... .... anyways, The Chronicle is in no way related to Mourning outside of several similar features like a focus on the political systems, open PvP, and a similar skill system.  I am waiting on the new domain I registered to go through, so I just am using MP.com as a staging grounds for my other projects.

    Just wanted to clear that up :D

    The Chronicle does sound to good to be true.. But I will keep an eye on it nonetheless.. I may do the preorder so I can check out the game before its released next month

    With everything the Chronicle promises to deliver,it has quickly made my top 3 most anticipated MMO's to be released this year
