I am looking for a new MMO....are there any free trials to WOW out there?

I want to change to a new MMO form SWG....any suggestions?

    read this board theres already at least 2 of this exact same post on the first page, the answer is fileplanet.com its NA only i think and theres restictions on the account (to prevent gold farmers abusing them)

    Yes there is a free 14 day trial at www.fileplanet.com, click on free games or demos.  You will need to put in a credit card when you sig up though.  Good Luck with your search!

    The free trial is how I started myself. THere are a few restrictions but nothing too dramatic I don't think. Can't speak in the chat channels (general, defense, trade, lfg), can't trade with folks, can't use email system and can't use auction house but for the first two weeks you will probably be like me and bet getting a feel for the game overall and playing around so lots of those features may not matter jsut yet for you.

    Incidentally, having come from SWG myself, although I miss what it was prior to the CU thing. I am much happier in WoW. You might be as well.

    I've been playing for a year and I still have alot of fun. I played SWG for about 6 months total and I'd never pay for that game again. And like one of the previous posters said, the restriction don't matter as much the first few weeks, except for maybe the AH. But I figure by the time you feel comfortable enough with using it you'll own the game anyway. ::::40::
