Try to be excellent to everyone you meet. You never know what someone else has seen or endured.
Comments
1. Excessive publicity and the ensuing commotion
2. Exaggerated or extravagant claims made especially in advertising or promotional material
3. An advertising or promotional ploy
4. Something deliberately misleading; a deception
So why do you wish to be hyped about the game? It's not the same as being excited, or looking forward to something.
I've played WoW. Not interested in Blizzcon. At all. But Wildstar at least has potential even if the devs are making a couple of bad moves.
You do make a decent point. But, I along others who have 0 interest in WoW or blizzcon will enjoy this. Then again, as someone looking forward to Wildstar, I would of probably scheduled this for the weekend before or after blizzcon.
+1
-1 for not knowing what the new class already are lol.

You see, every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You spread to an area, and you multiply, and you multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.-Mr.Smith

Likely because only the utmost fans will tune into them, with many of the "WoW Clone" people watching / going to Blizzcon or spending most of their time trying to figure out what is going on over there.
Though I always thought the point of such things were to attract more and new customers, so this theory is probably not entirely on point.
@Samhael
He was simply stating why anyone would do such when the point is usually to get more people interested. Not on a case by case, or individual basis. It is indeed a fair point to say that Blizzard probably has the most fans out of any studio at the moment -- at least when it comes to computer gaming -- which is what Wildstar is also trying to appeal to. They simply have no real experience under their belt (as a studio), and only have comedy and hype to sell their product at this point.
Say Carbine on the streets and people might think you were trying to sell them something illegal. Say Blizzard and people will likely be like, "Oh yeah, I heard of them..." It just doesn't seem conducive to having an exceedingly large crowd of viewers (in that there may be a few thousand, but there could've been thrice or even five times that without the scheduling conflict... especially if they are trying to get people to jump ship).
Given a choice, even someone who has never played an MMO before would likely pick watching Blizzcon over some random stream of a random company showcasing a game they never heard of if they weren't given a third option of what to do with their time.
That's not even including the E-Sports and various other activities and games that may or may not be coming to consoles. Things that have nothing to do with MMORPG gaming. In addition to that, there's always the cosplay and a lot of people -- of both genders -- wearing their costumes for display.
