are the srevers down or something?

in World of Warcraft

hi all, just tried to log on which usually takes like 5 seconds...
it stayed on authenticating for ages then went on handshaking, then complete and then said something about the server cant remember what now... anyone have same problem?

    i know what it says now... it says disconnected from server.... plz anyone else know why?

    Looks like a few realms are down at the moment. I thought Blizzard had scheduled maintenance for this morning, but it appears they've moved it to tomorrow.

    argent dawn must be down then cause it wont log on.... how long will it be for?

    The realm status forum is your friend. I noticed it too ealier today. But I got in, just had to wait some time on authenticating and then I was in. Maybe it's worse now. But like I said. Check here:

    I assume you are playing on the European servers.
