World of Warplanes or War Thunder

Title says it all.. I'm going to try both, since they are both F2P.. But which do you choose? And why? Thank you in advance for your opinions!

    I started with WoW and it was kind of fun. I didn't bother with war thunder because it looked like a clone.

     

    But holy hell, it is SO MUCH BETTER. Just about every aspect of it, from graphics, to flight models, you can even land the plane to repair. It is a bit less arcadey, and it has 3 modes. So you can do arcade battles, bump it to medium and do historical battles with no respawn, or go full realism with realistic flight models and joystick control.

    Plus, they're putting in ground vehicles eventually.

    That is the big difference I could see from watching videos of the two games. WoW looks very arcadey as to War Thunder looks more realistic.

     

    War Thunder sounds very promising, with the landing to repair, that's awesome. And ground vehicles coming soon as well, that's only a bonus. I feel like I'm going to like War Thunder much more. Kind of like comparing Battlefield and CoD.. CoD being WoW. I've always liked Battlefield much more, mainly because of the realism.

    War Thunder is a fun game though I have had some huge mismatches where one or two planes get all the kills......The matchmaking system is about the only real knock on the game at times.....Also I was under the impression that ground combat had launched, but when I logged in yesterday still had the coming soon sign.

    I can't wait for the ground combat. I've been playing both games but I enjoy War Thunder much, much more than World of Warplanes. Probably going to uninstall it here very soon.
