Getting kindof pissed off here......

in Final Fantasy XI

I just bought the Vana-diel Collection yesterday. When I excitely(Is that even a word?) put in the CD in my CD Drive, I sigh to find out that it won't show up, and when I go to my Documents, there is no CD Disk. What the hell?

Anyway, I go back to the place I bought it, and they let me get a new one.

Same thing happens?

 

Anyone please help?

    its a dvd, if the driver you are using is not a dvd driver it will not respond, says on the box.  i did the same thing.

    of course by driver i mean drive, dvd drive

    Actually...

    I checked my Drive, and it said DVD, so I don't think that's the problem..

    Please help. I really want to start playing this game by tommorow.

    Have u tried putting another disk inside to c if the prob is with ur drive? Do the following and c what happens:
    1. Go to Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manage
    2. Find ur DVD Drive in the list,right click it and click on Uninstal
    3. Once it is uninstalled,reboot ur PC
    4. If ur PC doesn't autodetect it,try finding it with Add New Hardware in the Control Panel
    5. Once it is found and installed try again.

    If this doesn't do anything then call ur customer service or PC technisian. There is a good possibility u need a new drive too. Could also be a communication thing between ur drive and motherboard. Hope this helped! ::::31::

    Yeah, I'm getting the Vana-diel Collection too.  So i hope this doesnt happen to me.  And Akibana knows what he is talking about so try what he tells you.image
