people shouldnt pay because you tell them. That doesnt make them cheap. Maybe you should try opening your mind a little bit and accepting that not everyone wants to subscribe..... wait, Silly me... life would be boring without those types of comments.

I agree, but this could be posted in a less confrontational tone.

After playing almost every Westernized MMO, and a few Asian MMOs, I feel that subscription-based games tend to have a higher degree of quality which makes them more fun in the end.  Free-to-play games almost always have some sort of trap which lures you into paying just to experience certain content.  The ones I dislike the most aren't those who charge for direct access to content, but rather those who charge for items and gear enhancement which you need to be able to succeed in progressively-increasing content.  The only exceptions I have seen are a few which started off with subscription models but switched to F2P, like Rift and TSW.

Rift is a good option, though im not sure about their pvp.

EQ2 has some serious raiding still going on to this day.

as mentioned TSW has a buy to play thats pretty cool, its a very different game than what you're probably used to though.

also, a note for life: don't pay attention to random, anonymous fools on the internet who tell you how to spend your money.

"There are at least two kinds of games.
One could be called finite, the other infinite.
A finite game is played for the purpose of winning,
an infinite game for the purpose of continuing play."
