Tomorrow, we’ll get a rather big reason to keep an EQ2 Gold Subscription up. From Holly “Windstalker” Longdale‘s twitter:

With our patch tomorrow, until Feb. 25, 2014, Gold Members will receive DOUBLE for all alternate currencies earned! #eq2

With this change, all in-game alternate currencies (ie not plat) will drop at twice the rate. This should also help immensely with the earning of Draconic Etyma.

Starting with tomorrows update and until February 25th, 2014 all Gold Members will earn twice as many token rewards when completing quests or actions that would grant an alternate currency token! Examples include Etyma, City Tokens, Goblin Gold, etc..
