Ridiculous Character Proportions

From watching the official YouTube video, those tiny legs and giant chests make the characters look too ridiculous.  Is the stick-legged, barrel-chest, longneck-head character the only one to play, or are there other characters or customization options planned?  I am interested in supporting the game, but not if I can't stand to look at my character's goofy proportions.

 

I don't expect an answer yet.  I was just hoping to get an answer as people get into the alpha test or if more official information is released.

    Is Trove the minecraft knockoff from Trion?  Or am I thinking of something else?

    I don't mind the odd designs, at least there aren't any silly half naked elves running around.
