I know it's monday, and I shouldn't write on manic-monday mood, but this (the 1st) AMA video is really disturbing me right now. I think I'm back on my feet now and a little bit de-hyped. If you really listen to what they say (question: character progression? -> answer: "umm well, there will be hero classes") or (question: can we expect a holy trinity? -> answer: "we think of something like Battlefield 3... where the healer primary has to fight"
Ehm well, now I think mmorpg.com is the wrong place for Miguel to discuss/promote Eternal Crusade. Maybe he should visit FPSguru or or something. I'm really sad about these statements in the video, and that's not the way to treat real RPG players like us.
Your opinions are welcome, and watch the videos if you don't believe.
Like previous players wrote, we expect dynamic and fair combat and that fun gameplay is the most critical point but character developement and an immersion of a short warhammer 40k novel while turning on the PC and playing some hours our "future favourite MMORPG" is an absolute requirement! And nobody here likes to select character -> select weapon -> run into battlefield -> die.

Omg! I'm so happy I realized that!
PS: That doesn't mean I'm bad at Battefield 3 :-)
do you prefer Select class> run to max level> select LFR>die. . . instead???
I'm talking about character development. I.e. customizing the look and stats due a great variety of unlockable / craftable / lootable armor and weapons. The second thing I'm talking about is gameplay. And gameplay for everyone here contains a variety of visual / functional group-gameplay.
And if you don't know that, you're wrong here, too!

Looks fine for pre-alpha.
Also dont read to much into it, as we all should know games change a lot till release.
Some to the better, some to the worse.
So keep a cool head, have some trust in them and participate in the Forums if you think you have some good ideas for the Game.
