From Feb my monthly bill is going up by 15%........

Every year they do this I reduce my services down so I pay less. In less than 2 years I will go from 100mb to 30mb to save on their shoddy price hikes.

Their hub 1 is shoddy with intermittent wifi problems.

Their customer service sucks.

Id go to BT but I hear its not much better.

Loyalty with virgin media = one sided.

    I have been with BT for years now never had a problem with them, I did try sky but that was a nightmare never again.

    I'm in the same boat. I was paying VM £85 per month for stuff we don't use just because I wanted the fastest internet available.

    They kinda have you by the balls on this, because they are indeed the fastest (at least in my area) until BT get their act together with their fiber rollout.

    I recently dropped my package to around £40 per month with just 60mbps internet and now they tell me they are upping their prices by £6 - but not to fret because they are giving us more sports channels (which no-one here watches) and Netflix ( which I can already access on my TV for free (+ subs to Netflix of course).

    So annoying but what can you do... they have the monopoly.

    I dropped the house phone and the TV as I just watch Freeview and my mobile any ways.

    Yeah I considered that but the wife seems to think that having a land line is still some kind of a status symbol! I disagree completely but anything for a quiet life right? :)
