Wow, that is uhhh unexpected? I have to really wonder where he is going and what the "Moving on" part is. I see its time for some of the rats to  abandon ship....

Some times the devil you know is better than the devil you don't. Things may change now but that doesn't mean they'll be for the better.

Very interesting that next wow expansion seems to have taken a marked change of direction, acknowledging a lot of elements from the past and what experienced mmo players have been asking for - at the same time that gc decides to move on, very interesting.

    rpg/mmorg history: Dun Darach>Bloodwych>Bards Tale 1-3>Eye of the beholder > Might and Magic 2,3,5 > FFVII> Baldur's Gate 1, 2 > Planescape Torment >Morrowind > WOW > oblivion > LOTR > Guild Wars (1900hrs elementalist) Vanguard. > GW2(1000 elementalist), Wildstar

Now playing GW2, AOW 3, ESO, LOTR, Elite D

I hope he does well going forward.

But I do hope his replacement doesn't hate priests like he seemed to.

    All die, so die well.

He seemed like a good guy. Looking back at WoW under his direction (limited?) they lost players like me. I never looked at him for being the reason, but what happened happened. I wish him well.

Maybe there's hope for this game after all.

GREAT decision, he's responsible for a massive drop in subs.

Ah so finally the mouth piece of WoW takes his leave, about time, that piece of garbage was just a deflection point as the complaints over the game piled up. I for one will not miss that trash.

I'm neither for nor against Ghostcrawler.  I enjoy the game as it is, always have loved most of the changes.  No need to be calling him names and such.  Not all the subscriptions dropped were because of him.

Piece of garbage? Trash? You're talking about a person here. Showing at least a minimum of respect wouldn't be totally inappropiate. No matter what changes he's responsible for and you didn't like.

To be clear... I do not hold this one person solely responsible for all that went wrong with WoW, but unfortunately for him his ego put him in the forefront of the barrage of complaints.

I do hope that Blizzard is going in a new direction with WoW and any other MMO to come, because many have spoken, not just with our text but with our subscriptions and have left WoW behind because of the changes Ghostcrawler and many others were responsible for.

It's pretty disgusting that you would denigrate another human being because of difference of opinion in game design. What kind of person are you to make such hateful personal attacks against a complete stranger.

i have to say i am a greg street hater

the game i love got worse and worse with him holding the reins

the loss of RPG  in mmo was huge

but some of the interviews he did with gamebreaker were cool kinda changed my view point he must have been under massive presser to make the game more assessable

And uhh just how do you know for a fact they do not know one another? You make a couple of assumptions here, and while I neither agree nor disagree with either of you, we all know where assumption leads.

    It would, imo, be a better idea to ask Panzerbase;

    1. How do you know ghostcrawler?

At least armed with that information you could continue with your 'disgust' knowing something about what you are speaking.

But hateful how is it your business? Because 1. You posted your opinion (as ill informed as I find it) in a public forum that I read.

    2. If you're going to attack him for his opinions, I feel it is appropriate to point out your lack of information.

If you want a new idea, go read an old book.

In order to be insulted, I must first value your opinion.
