The Paladin?

Hello everyone 
I would like to know peoples opinions on the Paladin class.
I think the game looks realy kindo cool and if I'd start playing it'd defently be a Paladin... But I want to know if the paladin is a fun class. Imean the WoW paladins seemed really cool but in the end they were just dissapointing 
And I don't want to get dissapointed again. So please tell me about the DAoC Paladins

Daoc Paladins have one hell of a defense, but they hit with wet towels
Simply put, they tend to be sword/shield specialized. Add that to the tin cans they wear and it gets very hard to hit them.
They have access to shield spells, a damage add, a fatigue regen and a few other toys.
To keep it shotr: if you want to deal damage, don't play a pally. If you want to outlast your opponent and kill him by attrittion (sp.?), play a pally.
Personnally, I found pallies in DaoC quite boring

Oh I would also like to know what kind of weapons paladins can use and I'd like to see some screenshots

Paladins are able to use all weapons with the exception of the flexible and polearm class of weapons. Sorry, can't help you with screenshots though I don't have any of paladins.
