I do not know if this has been polled before. My bad if it has been. Just doing some research and sending results to ??????????. Please vote only once as this polling data is needed. Thanks. Almost forgot. You can post your thoughts as well but not required.

Yes, but I would also need a hand-written apology signed by all the Devs.
There is nothing about that game Stars Warzy.
I might play again if the game was rolled back. SWG had one of the best player communities and gameworlds I've ever seen on my server. People say it didn't feel like Star Wars. I could agree with them, but I didn't play it to get the same experience I got from the movies.
I played to get a mmorpg experience. SOE managed to make it a very unique mmorpg, maybe too unique for people. I blame WoW partly for the failure of SWG, and for all the clones about to be released that will copy Blizzards framework. I lost respect for SOE, or at least the devs working on SWG, that abandoned their veteran players in order to make SWG into a WoW clickfest.
Make it like it was before, and I may play again.
I will only go back to playing SWG, if...
SOE was no longer running the show.
Jedi was not a playable class.
IMO, the jedi class killed SWG. First, it was the holocron grind. That turned almost all the servers into a wasteland as thousands of players went afk and macro'd their entire game time. Then it was the nerfs to balance the combat system between the classes. Now finally it's the big revamp for more balancing issues.
In conclusion, game was buggy but okay. SOE marketed the game telling players, you can play jedi. People bought the game, releazied you can't start off as a jedi and demanded that they wanted to be jedi. SOE told players how to be jedi, by grinding professions (ie. holocron grind). Some people became jedi, leveled and became all powerfull in PvP. Non-jedi players complain jedi too powerfull in PvP and grinding profession to be jedi is taking too long. SOe changes how to become a jedi from grinding to questing. Combat was revamp'd for all the complainers. People complained some more about how PvP still not balanced and questing for jedi is too hard. SOE revamps the professions, so now everyone can be a jedi.
I didn't sign up for a Star Wars game that is set after the first Death Star is destroyed to be running into so many jedi. When I quit the game, about a year after launch, there was about 200 jedi on my server alone. It was getting to the point where it was no longer Star Wars Galaxies, but Jedi Wars Galaxies. With this new "improvement", SOE has finally made the full conversion to Jedi Wars.

why....?they will just screw it up again lol

After 2 years playing and 1 "old" Jedi I must say:
NEVER
As much as I absolutely loved this game once, nothing could ever bring me back to it. They could re-roll all they want, but there is no doubt that it would be horribly mishandled again, as it has been at every turn since before launch.
I really hope that *insert game name here* will be the first game to ever live up to all of its pre-release promises, maintain a manageable hype level and have a clean release. Just don't expect me to hold my breath.
Maybe.
I might go back if these changes are made:
No whining/grinding/spamming Jedi
A THOROUGH Beta test
A dev team that will fix bugs and listen to its customer base, instead of adding on
more features that aren't new which just make the game more buggy.
and ABSOLUTEY NO SOE!
Then perhaps I might try the game... after a very lengthy investigation.
I'm not a SoE hater but they had their shot and completely ruined a great idea.
Nope, no and no.
Because of the fact that SOE was simply leeching money out of us; promising things that never came to be, (Smuggler revamp anyone?) etc...
The "NGE" as they call it is just another "upgrade" that got out before it got thoroughly tested; therefore bugging the game even more. No thanks; if it all got free, why not, sure!
But I refuse to pay for that crap any longer.
I did nothing but hang around the SWG Stratics forums for 2 years prior to release. No other gaming, just the forums. I got into Beta and I bought upon release. I only played for a month or 2. I went out and bought The Total Experience but could only play that for a week or 2 and only because of the JTL.
SWG was terrible from the start. Everything was great(ideas/concepts) except for the gameplay. The game was bugged to hell on top of that. The second time I tried pre-CU the game was a ghost town. I was excited to see 1 other ship up in orbit at any given time.
Being that I couldn't enjoy Pre-CU SWG I can't help but lean toward wanting to try the new version. The only reason I don't is because I know the game is a ghost town.
I was on the verge of leaving SWG Pre-CU. CU may not have been perfect but it was worlds better than Pre-CU.
Now... if they rolled back to pre-nge/post CU but left the quest driven content in? I'd maybe consider it.

I bought SWG at initial release for two reasons, I enjoyed my experience in EQ, but it was getting tired and old and I needed a fresh experience and I like Star Wars. It seemed like SWG would be a breath of fresh air in the MMORPG genre. And the first few months were great, I loved participating in the Galactic Civil War (GCW) as much as I could, raiding Anchorhead from Bestine and eventually taking out factional bases and player bases, but the GCW was my driving interest, becoming a Jedi never crossed my mind. I thought the inclusion of a few player jedi might add a new dimension of interest, maybe allowing player bounty hunters to be employed by Imperial NPCs or other players to hunt down player Jedis... But the developers and many of the players became obsessed with nerfing the game beyond recognition as the "Jedi Trials" started for SWG.
I had tolerated the bugs and insipid profession design as I started out as a carbineer/squad Leader and quickly realized how useless I was in battle. This would change slightly over time.
Overall though my biggest complain will always be how game development was hijacked by the multitude that wanted to be a jedi, they catered entirely to their desires and seemed to forget that there might be people out there that might not want to be a jedi.
I left SWG after about a year of frustration. I actually returned briefly to EQ then after further frustrtion with SOE signed on with WoW when it started up. I swore to never return to SOE.
My experience with SOE (EQ, PlanetSide, SWG, EQII) has not been pleasant. I think each game should be terminated and the best aspects of each distrubted to other games and the worst aspect put on display for future developers for all companies to know what NOT to do.
