Star Trek Online's Winter Event is slated to kick off on Thursday, December 5th and will charge players with saving Q's Gingerbread Village from marauding snowmen. Players will be shrunk down to cookie size in order to better facilitate the rescue. The event is scheduled to run through January 16th.

In addition, all fan favorite Winter Wonderland activities will be returning, including:

  • “The Fast and the Flurrious”, the competitive race that rewards Epohh tags to breed special winter Epohhs that can be kept as non-combat pets, or turned in for Marks.

  • “The Fastest Game on Ice”, the race that grants players coveted glossy pictures of Q to redeem for a new starship.

  • Players fight the snowmen that Q brings to life to win holiday commodities.

  • Players search for hidden accolades around the map

Note: The minimum level for players to participate in Q’s Winter Wonderland is 10+.

I'm glad they're sticking to the lore in this game. The one where they fight the cookie people was always my favorite episode!

Like being in a western town with half built buildings is not eye rolling enough.

Like finding an exact duplicate of Earth is not eye rolling enough.

Like many examples of episodes being a little out there.

I think you could put a carbon suppository up the lore monkees' asses and make diamonds.  Gees unclench and enjoy life sometimes.

It's actually a big day for Cryptic, a seasonal content patch and an xpac for Neverwinter.
