Honestly, even GW2 and Vanguard aren't going to provide enough differentiation from WoW of WoW-esque games to really satisfy your need for change.
As soon as you get into the mode that "every game is a WoW clone" you're essentially going through the motions, you're not enjoying the story or the universe, and you're really not doing yourself any favors. The fact of the matter is that any MMO is going to be repetitive, regardless of how unique it is from the last. There will always be "Kill 10 Rat" quests. Some SP games might give you that needed revitalization to come back. That's what did it for me when I was a little turned off of MMOs.
I've left and come back. Its still the same largely. Well, its actually worst because older games are older and newer games aren't even WoW clones. They're more refined, more limited version single player games with crappy MMORPG mechanics and quest.
I do see some potential in some of the newer games so hopefully things will change since none of the games are really doing that well to justify remaking the same niche over and over.

Which new MMOs?
EQNext for one. ESO doesn't feel like WoW from what i played. Archeage if it ever comes here. Then you have the kickstarters if they ever come into play.

What does ESO stand for? Star Citizen looks interesting also
Aren't they supposed to feel the same? Or maybe you've just been playing the same genre of MMO. I've played some MMO's before and it does feel quite the same to me simply because it's of the same genre. If you played an MMORPG and played another MMORPG I think there won't be much difference to the point where they both feel the same.

Heard of this game a few times here, hopefully the game isn't all just hype.
