All you have to do is go back to the first pages of this game and look thru all of the posts.

 

 

A large majority of you former players were already complaining about it, how awful it was. Go read them, Ill wait right here...

 

 

 

 

So yeah, the lesson here? SWG was not the omgawesomenessofalltime. Hardly close to it. I played it from six months prior to the NGE and to me it was average...

 

 

Just remember that when your lamenting your ' best ever mmo of all time'..........

    That would be your opinion, Good job, Glad you shared it.

     in my opinion it was the best game i had ever played, some people differ, some agree, I see no reason to argue about it.

    So you played it for 6 months then went back to your favorite  theme park that was like every other game out there?   Go find me a game with all  the features of SWG...Ill wait right here.

     

    And just because someone is complaining about a game doesn't mean they don't like it they just want to make it even better.

    For me personally, it was the best MMO I ever played. And I can remember in vivid detail all of the highs and lows. I'd take them all again over any other game currently available.

    Played from Beta 2 until sunset 'Connection to SWG lost'.

    It is still the best MMO I've ever played.  Even with the CU and the NGE.

    I'm sorry that people have opinions that differ from yours.  I had more fun in SWG than I had in anything else, ever.

    So of course, every reply to this thread was I never dissed it, I loved it.

     

     

     

    Apparently, SOME PEOPLE disliked it enough to make all those threads..

     

     

     

    And to the one guy saying when it launched it sucked, no dude. Just no. All those threads SPANNED THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE GAME, NOT JUST LAUNCH.

    IMO, a majority of people disliked SWG thru out its entirety. Im merely pointing that out with evidence, and saying keep it in mind when reminiscing...

    Did you expect people that disliked the game to jump up and support your dislike of other people's fond memories?

    Do you think you're going to change anyone's mind about how much they liked the game?

    So what if it wasn't popular, many players still enjoyed it.

    So a person can't enjoy a game even though it has bugs? Never played SWG, however I have played Anarchy Online and did so for a long time.  That game had issues out the rear end. I'll talk highly of it to this day and I'll also be as critical of it in the same post. Loved the game and the only reason I stopped was because the population tanked really hard.  No rose colored glasses. A person can enjoy a game for what it is, can they not? Your problem with that is?
