Incorrectly merging your Wildstar closed beta account to your NCSoft account may lock you out for 90

Wildstar started with it's own closed forums. Wildstar moved to the NCSoft forums. This change means you have to merge your Wildstar account with NCSoft's account system. 

If your Wildstar account used a different email account than your NCSoft account be extra sure you make the change correctly. You must change your NCSoft account's email address to the email account you used for Wildstar. If you changed your NCSoft email account within the last 90 days then you will be locked out of the Wildstar beta until you can again change your NCSoft email address to the one you used for Wildstar.

Finding this out isn't the easiest thing. In order to confirm the above you have to try to log into the wildstar beta forums. You then be told you don't have access and you're pointed to the support page.  You get to the support page and there is absolutely nothing about merging these accounts.  

In order to find out the above you have to submit a ticket from the Wildstar Beta forum support page. Once you get to the ticket submittal page you will find some 3 links half way into the support ticket submission form. One of those links will actually tell you how to correctly merge the accounts.

    Yeah, if you're locked up, send an email to the support link - we don't really have much of a queue of tickets (shocking for beta, heh) so you should hear a response quickly unless we're mid-stress test or some such.

    That account merger thing was a huge PITA for players and us both - it was necessary but still a pain :P  Once you're converted it should be OK - if you have a hard time for some reason PM me.

    I believe this happened to me. What are your hours of Support Service?

    I believe this happened to me. What are your hours of Support Service?

    You can submit an email at any time; we have official support hours but the guys are fielding q's on the off hours often as well.

    Little bit impressed by seeing a Carbine response here on an issue to be honest.

    You do not see that everyday, by any company.

    I am not in Beta but I did need to change my email address on my NCSoft account within the 90 day window specifically so I could possibly get an invite to WS Beta (was using an anonymous email service on NCSoft account). I submitted my ticket and same business day my request to change email addresses was solved. Great service from NCSoft. Much thanks to them.
