I really love the direction they're going with this game, the only negative is that it doesn't seem to have customization of characters, but rather collection of characters through game play. I am not sure if they're going to have enough at launch to make it as good as customization could have been.
But if building/ crafting is all the more stronger as a feature for it, I don't mind, and it seems like they have some awesome ideas in that aspect. I had a nerdgasm when they showed off a character whipping up a steampunk-esque LEGO helicopter!
Oh, and I guess, first! Hah.
Also, any 'failcom' etc posts get reported on sight.

I think it's entirely possible that the game will be fun. Not so sure it will be fun though. It really depends on how much of a Lego experience it has versus the MMORPG experience. If it's more Lego than MMORPG, then I think it'll be a great game.
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
Hopefully they learned from the last Lego MMO.

Any way who likes Lego...? Last time i checked millions of people the world over from all ages... Now a better question is who would like a the game.. That i am not sure of.

Anyway OP, even though I'm not a kid any more I still love lego and quite enjoyed the last Lego MMO so I'm quite looking forward to this if it's done right, but I really want to customize my character.
Just hope my GF lets me play it....

Anyway, hope the game is fun. Death animation - character flies apart into many pieces, dog comes along and eats one or two. A couple of others are vacuumed up.

The OP simply felt that people who just hate on FunCom for being FunCom can go and hate in their own thread.. A very legit request as things otherwise can spiral out of control.
Ofc you do not have to abide his or her request, but if you have nothing to say about the game in question... Why even post?
Personally i am looking forward to a good Lego MMO... The idea is fun and with games like Minecraft and EQ:N:Landmark the concept of world building is not as abstract as it once was. This game will not be that game by the looks of it but if it does well it might open the door for others.

I'm on the fence with this since the beta keys. On one hand I like Funcom's games, on the other I never liked lego (except the programmable one, with servos, etc... Technics maybe?)
On the PC I enjoyed Lego LotR and Lego SW (the original trilogy), but of course not because of lego, because of SW and LotR. Both were lightweight, fun little games with tongue-in-cheeks humour and yep, with little yellow figures... I can live with that if the game is fun
So, I will probably give LMO a try, but since it hasn't got any lore or story behind and it's only boon that it's lego, I don't think it will be my favourite game... We'll see.

No. Its not a sandbox game. But it look very cool. And i look forward to go online with my kid and play a game that looks like would be fun fore the both of us. I have hoped for a more sandbox game, but i like more mission and good fights. And that it would be a lot of. Even PvP!
l like that you can buy a minifigure in any shop, and activate the figure online and play after release. Just like the skylanders. I bet this game will give us Lego fans a loot of fun when its ready.
It would be great if a more easy game will help FC back on track aswell. I dont like minecraft, and my kid have this as his favorite PC game now. I have tried to play with him, but i can stand that all grafic is boxy.
