The game has been released!! Sorry, I love the game.. Edit: Grab it on steam. Fuck yeaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!

    I'm going to personally wait for better builds because I am going to take Dean's advice because I get frustrated too easily and don't want the appeal to dim with horrible bugs.  Luckily Nether is scratching my DayZ itch right now.

    Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!

    Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!

    Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!

    Im glad i saw this video and the one from IGN.

     

    After saw these video's not in a million years ill buy this game anytime soon nothing has changed still aweful bugs same glitches and aweful looking buildings still same old chernorus and elektra.

    Play DayZ mod for free or play a buggy alpha dtandalone version, no thx.

    Limited 40 man server, still with famous redchain bad connections crashes and bad performance.

     

    Dean was more involved inclimbing the mount then work on dayz and that shows what a crappy build.

     

    Ive played mod for more then year i would have exspect, alot more improvement but this still crap, not worth my money ill wait a few months see what progress has been made(i think not much will change, also Dean lies alot).

    Good! This stage is pretty much just for testing out the game and seeing what works and what doesn't. It's in no state to be played and/or reviewed. Rocket has made that perfectly clear and encourages people to NOT buy it unless they are wanting to help and/or can overlook its glaring issues.

     

    Yeah, this game is horribly unoptimized at the moment.. but that's understandable. You have to consider that this isn't on the "stable" ArmA II engine that the mod was using. The engine they're using has been heavily modified. Of course it's going to need a lot of further testing.

     

    As far as the graphics go I don't know what you're talking about. I think it looks MUCH better than the mod. Not only that but Cherno and Elektro has been updated and the additions are a much noticeable improvement.

     

    So, yes, for your sake just do what you said and wait. This is not like every other alpha/beta where it's nothing more than a glorified demo.
