What is this gear and how do I get it?

So I was running around ul'Dah and saw these 2 players in awesome looking armor, I'm a level 21 lancer and still pretty new to the game, but how in the world do you get that armor!? Are they costumes? I WANT ONE!

The armor on the left is a chest piece called Armor of Light I believe, and it can only be used by Paladins and Warriors. It drops out of the new 24 man raid Crystal Tower, which is end game. Not sure what the robe on the right is though.

The Myth Gear is still the best, the crystal tower stuff is item level 80

AF2 (myth gear), the new extreme primal drops, and allaghan gear is all lvl 90 so myth is not the best, it depends on your gear setup (they have equal str/int/vit/mnd/dex, but different secondary stats like crit rate, determination, accuracy, skill/spell speed).

It is better, stat-wise than crystal tower gear, but I don't want people confused that myth gear is simply the "best in the game".

Thanks for the answer to the one on the left :D

Anyone have an inkling as to what the one on the right is though?  (Maybe that one come from that new raid too?)

They're both from the same place.

To be the best, you must help each other become the best.
    FFXI Character: Satimasu
    FFXI Server: Valefor
    FFXIV Character: Tamorae Fonteil

This picture wasn't taken on a  computer running max settings. The game is extremely beautiful. Easily one of the most beautiful MMO's released.

If you played it than you would know that the game doesnt look like his screenshot for everyone.  Because its probably one of the best looking mmos out right now.  It looks even better with sweetfx

When you see it on a 4K PC for the first time... jaws are dropped.

4K as in Ultra High Resolution (2160p) and not the price of the computer.   xD

Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing).  German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century.  Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now).  I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things).  In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while.  If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.

Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this.  If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own.  Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis.  Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.
