Need my pvp fix...

Hello, before everyone starts flaming me for spelling like crap. English is not my main language so expect misspellings here and there.

Currently im playing WoW and its starting to get very boring for me. I feel like i need something new, something fresh.

What I do im wow is mainly pvp but occationally I so some pve/raiding. Im just feeling like WoW is too old for me, its just not what it used to be anymore. I've been playing on and off for 6-7 years with 1 year break at one point. But as I said, I need something new for my pvp fix. I want to be able to gank people in the open world, play competetive arenas against other players and such. Is there any other game that offers this level of pvp?

Games i've tried but not stuck with:

GW2, Tera, Rift(got to lvl 20, not fun at all), EvE, AoC, SWTOR, and a few others that I cant remember at the moment.

    You named off a good hunk of games that deal with PvP and I can't think of any that would be much different than those. Aion comes to mind if you can stomach the grind. Other than that, I'd say you would be hard pressed to find something with anything new you haven't already done.

    I just saw Darkfall on Steam, 13.58 for purchase at 66% off (that would include 30 days sub.)

    It's not my cuppa tea, with open world pvp and full loot, but it certainly looked appealing in many other ways. I loved the sound of being able to change your role at any time, but keep your levels. Maybe this would be a game for you to look into before their sale is over.

    edit: I was 40ish cents off on the purchase price :)

    Population dropped off with a period of successive months of little content updates.  This included a lot of people in my clan.  Darkfall has retained a stable core of people though and pvp has always been readily available...you just needed to know where to find it.  Then, the sale happened a few months ago and people started returning.  Whole clans returned, including a lot of people from the clan I'm in, and some big battles followed.  Now with the latest sale and patch, Darkfall seems to be the right path for growth. 

    I cannot answer if it is worth you investing your time in, because I'm not you and my preference could differ, but if you are not currently enjoying your present MMO I would definitely give Darkfall a try.

    I've given darkfall and planetside 2 a try but somehow it just dosnt stick with me.. maybe i will just have to wait for some new mmorpgs to come out. I will keep searching and trying out the suggestions you give me.

    try the DAOC free private server.  Uthgard.net   this server is extremely active with close 1000 people on during EU primetime and 300-400 people on during US primetime.
