Had a passing thought related to an MMO I played in the past but can't recall the name. Hoping someone may remember it from a very vague description I can give.
The biggest thing that stands out was the game was unfinished, like massively so. There was an entire town where a race of giants or barbarians, paired with a race of wolf people, that they wouldn't let you even start at because the newbie quests were so poorly done and unfinished quest lines to lead out of it that they abandoned it altogether.
The only other thing I can clearly remember was a landmark location for a dungeon, not instanced. Was a lower level zone, probably teens, for dwarf quests on a stone bridge. Up a hill was a cave of spiders. Down a spiral path lead to blacksmithing Goblins. Farther in lead to a elevator deeper for more goblin knights and voodoo stuff. The chain quest for the dungeon was retarded, every time you finished you had to fight out, pick up a new quest, fight back in little farther and repeat this about 30 times. In the end you spent more time running back and forth than actually dungeoneering with a group.
At first, a 3D mmo with non-instanced dungeons, I thought maybe Vanguard. But that wasn't the case. If anyone can think of it, I'd be pretty excited to know. So utterly bored, kinda itching at a mmo again, even if it is faulty.
