Does anyone else realize that some of the sound effects come straight from a previously released game know as Dungeon Defenders? For example, the crossbowman right at the beginning main town. That sound I know for sure comes from DD.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein "Graphics are often supplied by Engines that (some) MMORPG's are built in" - Spuffyre
I think if you hear them in 2 games by different developers they come from some type of public access. You hear them all the time in movies. The one I always pick out is during a fight scene the guy in the background going blahh! I remember that one going back as far as fantasy general and they still use it today.

That's hilarious! I notice in some shows they sometimes use similar noises I've heard on online flash animations/in games.

I can't even begin to tell you how many movies and games I've heard the childrens laugh and crowd noise from roller coaster tycoon in.
Would make sense for the sound to be public domain, heh.
