There is no audio in some parts.

Chris said there are many features missing that are not finished yet, like HUD, g-force etc... Also keep in mind he did not release the dogfighting module to the public because of well.. the footage is self-explanatory. But all things aside, graphically the game looks amazing!

Wasnt it always intended to be arcadie?

If I remember Wing Commander was no X-Wing.

not simulation as flight simulator but should be more complex than world of warplanes , maybe some nice ideas from Jumpgate (first game). and game did marketing as best simulation in space

Chris Roberts has never gone the "sim" route with any of his games. They've always been games with flight models rather than Newtonian physics. If that's what you're looking for then maybe you should look into Elite: Dangerous, the next episode of David Braben's Elite series. That is also crowd funding right now with similar opportunities to get into alpha/beta etc.

Personally, I'll be spoiling myself and playing both :)

Star Citizen uses Newtonian physics for the flight model.

Looks pretty sweet to me so not sure what people are complaining about. Obviously the graphics will be better at release (those asteroids were such an eyesore).

His games have always been cockpit style. And if he pulls it off right....game will be awesome. Already looking forward to launching my snub fighter out my cargo bay !

It´s going to be great, CR games always had a great feel, and also this is ALPHA not sure if people even know what that means...

It will be tweaked during the alpha TESTING..
