Good Alternatives to Youtube

I like to comment on videos, but prefer it to not be shared on every possible social media outlet which is why I can't stand Google or Youtube now. Are there any good non-Google alternatives for video sharing sites where I can comment on someone's video without my entire family reading what I posted?

    Your comments on youtube are public, but they're not shared. So your comment can only be read by people that are visiting the video page. You'll have to uncheck the "share on Google+" option, otherwise you'll be sharing it on your Youtube Google+ page.

    It's really not a big deal, it's just like before except that now you have the option to share it on your Google+ page.

    I was having issues with this. When I posted on a video that I was sure did not share, it was still sharing.
