Originally posted by doragon86 As it it will not likely come to PC, I'd say PS4. However, I'm not too interested in the game. Seems like it'll be fairly similar to the Borderlands games but with "dynamic" events and more realistic graphics. Besides the Division, looks more interesting albeit the fact that it's on PC as well. Also... Destiny isn't advertised as an MMO. Not even sure why it's on this site. Then again, a few games on here that aren't MMOs... so I suppose that's the norm.
The devs have stated that you will see other people out in the world minding their own business unlike borderlands and that you will get to customize your own character, plus the armor and stuff you wear will show too.

Hmm? So it's like PSO2 where you'll randomly encounter other players while playing? Customization is always nice.

Hmm? Folks hack console games as well. The lines between PC and console gaming are rather thin. Console games can be hacked but not nearly to the same degree that PC games are.
Really dont want Destiny to end up like Planetside 2.

I don't get why my comment was taken personally. I play a ton of PC games, BUT when it comes to ANYTHING first person shooter or sandbox, where people will do ANYTHING to get ahead, PCs are much, much, much easier to hack on and/or exploit through 3rd party programs, period.
I have much more faith in playing on a console that the player I'm up against isn't using some sort of wall hack or aimbot.
Well I bought a ps4 yesterday, so I guess ill pick to play it on that.

None. I've seen way too frequently lately how dumbed down a game built for consoles can be. Not my problem they paid twice what a pc would cost them and didn't get all the buttons.

It depends, generally speaking I dont like console games for being way too simple "load -> go go go" games with few buttons to press, I like RPG's with ton of mechanics, RTS games, and RPG shooters, there are games like Borderlands that I really liked on PC (which is a console title too), and Destiny kinda sounds like something they got their ideas from Borderlands.
PS3 - Destiny is the only reason to own a console and bungie has stated they are very impressed with how it turned out on ps3 and the game is no different old gen to new
Originally posted by RelGn I think they said there will be no pc version
That they did. It's a shame though. I never understood why Bungie insists on decimating its potential market by making all their games console exclusive.
It looks good and the very fact Bungie went their own way to make it speaks well. Will be watching it closely up to and including release and if all is good then it will be my go to fps with bells and whistles on the PS4.

PS4
And for the record, PSO2 is a lobby based game where everyone is in a waiting room and only 4 players are in a private instance on the planet.

LOL all these peeps saying PC destiny has no plans for a pc release.
I will be playing on PS4 and already preordered as the beta starts first for ps4 owners.
