Just curious if my mx14 laptop will be able to play mmo's coming out this year like elder scrolls, archeage, etc. Its an Alienware Mx14. In a dilema if I can just use this or will have to upgrade my PC. Or for elderscroll will it play good on a ps4?

Anyway laptop is as follows.

itll definitely play, not sure about what settings (w/ the graphics card being your where you'd bottleneck)

somewhere online is a calculator where you can plug in your parts and see what FPS you'd run at various graphical presets, specifically calibrated for TESO. Unfortunately I couldn't find it for you so you'll have to hunt for it! :/

Good luck and see ya in april!

EDIT: forgot to mention, in case your relatively new to laptop gaming - make sure to game on a well ventilated area. not sure about how alienware laptop cases are set up, but I've melted two laptop's graphics cards by expecting to be able to play VG on max settings while the computer is on my lap and I watch TV

Gt650 is a low end card, and by the looks of skyrim screenshots, I would guess that it will be underpowered. Like all laptops, You can probably play most games on lower settings, but it will never be the same. Power=cooling and cooling require space, so as I have said many times there is no such thing as a gaming laptop, only laptops that can run games.

Without knowing what kind of system specs the newer games are being designed for, it is impossible to guess how well your system will run those games until beta information is released.

You can, however, compare your system to the current hardware on the market to get an idea of how yours will perform when compared to current hardware.  You can also look toward console hardware and make a few assumptions based on those and games which are released on the new consoles.
