Defiance: The 7th Legion Announced as Next DLC

Trion Worlds has announced the name and a small bit of lore behind Defiance's next DLD. Called "The 7th Legion", the DLC will spotlight the soldiers of the 7th Legion and their heroic arrival in Paradise.

When the world fell apart, one group kept their courage. Guided by the teachings of the Code of Bushido, the soldiers of the 7th Legion marched across Canada gathering survivors as they went. From one outpost to another they marched until finally they found a city which did not fall: Manhattan. There, they made their stand against the darkness, and Commander Yoshida Hiro called an end to their long journey. Now they have come to Paradise. What dread news could this herald?

    that does sound cool.

Didn't they cancel the TV show I can't imagine team or player morale is very high with this game. Makes me not want to play it knowing all my progress can be terminated by the servers shutting down at any moment

No, the show's still going on. Season 2 begins in June. Personally, I loved the time I spent in the game, getting nearly 80 hours of play from a $5 purchase. It may not be for everyone, but it definitely gets my recommendation.

Just adding my 2 cents that I bought this game at launch and really enjoyed it.  Played for a few months then was gone for about 2 months.  Just started playing again and it is even better than before.  A lot of different things going on and always people to do them with.  Really looking forward to the new DLC.
