One of the upcoming features in 2014 announced recently for AoW in China is player housing.
No much details are provided for now except that players will be able to decorate their piece of land / housing and also receive buffs wheing doing their cultivation and crafting there.
My guess is that the indoor scene of player housing will be similar to what we see in a ingame wedding banquet (pictured below) but with more sophiscated interactions.

[mod edit] Buy a 30 day cosmetic from a player for a few silver, or a permanent[mod edit]
Not like this is relevant to anyone in the west. The game's a barren wasteland here now. It's like one day 98% of the playerbase had heart attacks and died at the same time.
I leave the game for like a week to move into my apartment, and when I start playing again, there's pretty much nobody on. Even in Chengdu, where it was flooded with player stalls, there was only 1 stall!
[mod edit] Are you saying that their cash shop doesn't sell rent items? [mod edit]. My concern is based off of how they run their cash shop.
I also notice you always say buy cash shop items from other players. Where do you think those "other" players got the item to sale in the first place? That's right, the cash shop. So for every person who follows your advice on buying a cash shop item from a player, there are other players NOT following your advice and buying those cash shop items to sell to other players like you.
Thinking and speculating their game housing or even housing items are going to be cash shop items is not even out of line and you should probably expect it. Sure you may not "buy" them from their shop, but someone else will so they can sell it to you.
Do you have any actual information on housing that's more than Cname's that can tell us it's not going to be a cash shop item?

Your first statement inferred that their cash shop items only contained items for rent. Maybe it wasn't your intent, but it did make me second guess what I remembered from the cash shop when I played.
Anyway, this might make me come back and check it out for a while. I really enjoyed the game and it continues to develop.
Unfortunately I don't know the details your asked.
For the moment, we only know that there will be at least "several types of player housing" with "different scenery" (e.g. beach location, mountain location etc).
