Blade & Soul: Season 2 Hinted at In New Trailer

Blade & Soul 2 will be updating soon in Korea and the development team wants to keep its players thinking about what might be yet to come. To do so, they have released a brand new video that hints at a new storyline.

PlayNC Korea just released a new teaser trailer showing off some of the storyline for the upcoming Blade & Soul Season 2 patch scheduled this month! The trailer seems to revolve around one of the previous bosses of the game, a little girl named Pohwaran. You will see her all over the trailer fighting people with her huge gatling gun, hugging her big grand pops Haemujin, and young child version of her at the end of the video.

NCsoft sure is taking their time in bringing this here

I just want to see the story in a language that I can understand, it looks like an amusing anime

Thanks for posting this here to give this game some attention, even though there's not much news out there to work off as the NA site hasn't posted anything for over a year. NCsoft doesn't think releasing this in the west is worth it and are fully focused on bringing Wildstar instead, what a drag the wait for this game has been.

It's funny, I still remember thinking "definitely after GW2 this will get a release soon", now it's "definitely after Wildstar", lol... I don't know what to think anymore, maybe even 2015 or beyond? They must be crazy with how long they're abusing their fan base and dragging this out.

I'd release it soon NCsoft before it gets too dated, you could still pass this as a p2p if you launch within the next few months. (We all know the localization is finished and the game is completely ready for launch here, but you're too invested in the business and statistics side of things to see how bad Wildstar is going to flop.) Because unlike Wildstar, this is actually a good game.

If they do release it they will screw it up somehow, ncsoft had a knack for screwing up great games.

Wildstar will be more entertaining in the long run, though I am a fan of fast paced action combat with an anime twist to it.  B&S has been out for a while but it's still missing something and the animation locking is to strong.

I've played both... And because of the NDA, all I can say is you're dead wrong.

Because of the NDA, I will have to say I completely disagree with you.  I would say you are dead wrong.

Not under any NDA for BnS so I'll say that its an RNG based grind fest with only graphics and combat to carry it.

So, if you thought Tera was the best game ever and thought that it needed more RNG and more grind then BnS is the game for you.

Between this trailer and Archeage's I'm starting to wonder if there isn't an invisible market for untranslated, something-important-is-being-revealed-but-I-don't-know-what videos on the internet.  Someone should look into this.  On topic, I remember people linking the closure of CoX to B&S's imminent release; safe to say that just isn't so.  If they wait much longer all the excitement for this game may be eclipsed by other titles coming our way.

Sorry but I just still cannot get excited about a game that probably will never come this direction. They are already solidly in the "too little too late" zone. You only get from something in proportion to the amount of effort you put into it and NCSoft put almost no effort into their western market.

    All die, so die well.

Can't comment on Wildstar due to NDA except that it's my most anticipated MMO currently, but B&S combat is a lot of fun (having played a released version in the East).  Far more so than Tera.  There aren't as much animation lock skills as you would think and the combat flows very well and is quite fast paced.

As for the actual content in the game I wasn't too impressed with the early levels I played through and not sure the endgame would be any better, but the combat carries it enough to make the standard questing a little less dull.

It's sad that like most Korean game releases, it will release far too late and with far too little press surrounding it to make any sort of impact in the West no matter how great it is.  First AAA with a concurrent US/Korea release from a Korean developer would actually garner a decent amount of following in my opinion, but that's not happening anytime soon.

I'm assuming you couldn't read any of the quests or understand any of the cut scenes. BnS is a good game if you can actually understand it.

Also, I've played both TERA and BnS, and it's clear you're just making stuff up. There is a lot more grinding in TERA than there is in BnS so it's pretty clear to me you're just another person who hates on Asian games, and has most likely never even played BnS.

Read the quests? Really? You think I didnt like BnS just because I couldnt read the quests?

Well, I dont think YOU have played or you'd know what the endgames gearing is like and I describe it perfectly.

Like defeating a dungeon and getting a chest with a random piece of loot.
And when you do randomly get a weapon you can use you need to identify and find out it has random stats. Whoo!

Or the ultra insane grind that is endgame weapons. Having to feed weapons to your weapon to level it then having to get a specific weapon and level that one so you can break your weapons level cap so you can feed it more weapons to level it more.

And THEN you do it again with another weapon so you can combine that and this weapon for a true endgame weapon.

Yeah, I dont need to be able to read the quests to know thats some BS grinding.
