Servers have been up pretty much all afternoon/night

Yes thats right the servers are pretty stable now.. you can stop moaning.

    Ever stop to think thast they are more stable because the load has been a heck of a lot lighter?

    Actually, it looked like there were more people than ever logged in last night when I was playing. The chat box was very active, with many obviously first time logged into game.

    I played for over 3 hours with no crashes, and only 1 minor annoying bug. My pets would disappear, even the stat boxes for them would be gone. But if I tried to call my pioneer dragon again, I would get a message that I already had control of him. Logging out to character select then back in again resolved it the 2 times it happened. And both times I crossed into a new territory.

    Oh, and lots of new mobs too that never stopped spawning.

    I am personally quite pleased at the progress that Farlan/NPCube has made with the servers and SoG! image

    Looking forward to getting in some more quality gaming time this 3 day weekend :)

    How are you going to do that? By completing the one quest in the game (that doesnt even work) over and over again?


    Thread is about server stability. If you have a comment on that, then we welcome it.

    If you want to bitch about lack of quests, start your own thread about it.

    Otherwise, go back to trolling, quit playing the game, or just move on.

    Nope. I still can't play. To much connections or the server isn't up yet messages, every time I try.

    Servers down as I type this.
    According to the DnL-Help IRC Channel, it was last rebooted on 624am GMT
    SO I guess it has been down since around 124am EST.

    You can see exact server statuses at http://dnl.thruhere.net (login server is queryed the same way client does... took a lot of packet sinfing to make it work)

    I've very happy with the server stability.  Everytime it goes down (maybe 2 or 3 times) it is down for only 20 minutes which my guild believes is the reboot time.

    Considering that the main sites forums are filledwith "can't log in" posts the servers either are still pretty unstable or the client srill needs a lot of work or both.
