First I want to warn everyone who wants to play this game: Before level 20 this game is pretty good ( 9/10 ). But once you find out how much you actually have to grind and how much you have to pay then you'll probably quit playing and waste alot of money if you spent any like me.

Dev's banned me for having constructive criticism, and so they did with other people I heared. They know they fucked up, but don't want other people to find out before they payed them money.

 

1: This game is an epic pay 2 win game. You can buy ingame currency for real money and use that ingame currency to buy skill xp, which means you don't have to do anything at all to get to the top.

2: This is an alpha game that got released to early, the main issues can only be fixed by wiping all characters, which you simply can't do in a released game without pissing everyone off. Good decision you made there Hunted Cows.

3: Gathering is double clicking objects, combat is pressing tab 1-2-3 and crafting is waiting x seconds per item. Pretty sure most would prefer tic tac toe or tetris.

3: The grinding in this game is beyond comparison to any other game, you for example have to grind 13000 animal skins and 26000 animal hides to get your leatherworking to level 16. And even if you are level 16, you can't do ANYTHING with it because you get better gear from dungeons so there's no demand for any crafters currently.

4: EVERYTHING in this game comes from either WoW or Runescape, nothing is origional.

5: All the quests are the same: Kill x, Gather x or Talk to x ( don't even know why there are quests :S )

6: All the Hunted Cow developers rated this game as a 10, which is why the rating is so high.

7: It's so easy to bot in this game, and they don't do anything about it. I botted farming from level 1 to 40 and they didn't even notice... Also made really simple scripts for the other gathering skills which took about 5 min each to make :S

8: No comment about the PvP

 

Why I got banned ( Tickets with Andrew, I hope you read this Andrew )

1) The title 'Attempt at Saving the Game' makes it look like the game needs saving. I agree we have a lot of further improvments to make, but we did recently post up a thread about a Development Roadmap which you can see here:

Got unbanned because they can't ban me for criticism and then I sent them my suggestion with some more suggestions and more formal and I got this as reply

This is pretty much what you posted before. For example:

After that I got banned because I answered a question ingame, someone asked where they could see how I got banned so I told them to go to d2jsp.org at the other games forum. BAM banned for violating the terms of use again.

    Paragraph 2, and bullet point 7 seem to contradict eachother.

    You got banned for constructive criticism, however they did not do anything about your botting to level 40.  I seem to think you failed to connect the dots.

    Yup and even after you said that I fail to connect the dots lol... 

     

    EDIT: NVM I see what you mean, but you really think i'm stupid enough to bot on my main account when I can simply run a VPN on my laptop? My bot account had level 40 farming, 32 prospecting and 28 crystal cutting and I haven't even spent 1 hour playing on it myself. It's a simple colour detection bot and they just don't know lol... Only way for them to find out if someone is botting is if they get reported by someone who finds him suspecious and then they go and ask him questions to see if they are human or a bot. Laptop is right next to me so I would notice if someone starts chatting lol...

    Another game and another 'game is bad' thread from someone that has been banned. Original.

     

    1 - Pay2Win? Do you even understand the term? Sure you can pay to level faster, most would call this 'convenience'. Having said that, do you earn 'God-mode' from maxing your fishing?

     

    2- Alpha game? What on earth makes you suggest that? I've been playing for a few weeks now and haven't come across a single (yes, not 1) bug, let alone a game-breaker that would make me question the games release.

     

    3- Yes there is a lot of grinding required to level crafting professions. Don't like it? Do something else. I, however, perversely enjoy the grind.

     

    4 - Oh crap. It takes it's features from the two most popular MMO's in the world. Better stay clear then.

     

    5- This game has the best story-driven quests I have played since forever.

     

    6 - Hahaha, and all the botters hackers rated it 1.

     

    7 - The punchline. Hunted Cow 1 Botters 0. Adios loser image

    1 - You pay to be the best, and best on Eldevin = highest on leaderboard ( Which is why Zezima is/was best on Runescape ) which can only be done with a huge amount of money on Eldevin. It's $0.35 cents to make someone skin an hour for you ( calculations are on the forums somewhere if not removed ). So pay $100 and you have 300 hours profit over another leatherworker who gets the materials himself. 

    2 - Alpha doesn't mean bugged game, this game has very big balancing / economy issues ( haven't seen any bugs either ) 

    3 - There's alot of grinding EVERYWHERE, quests, dungeons, gathering, crafting, events and the rest...

    4 - I don't mind if they do, but there's nothing origional at all which is kinda lame IMO

    5 - Don't care about the story when I don't want to do the quests lol... Better just give a story without having to grind / walk 30 minutes.

    6 - Why would they?

    7- You mean Hunted Cow 0 Botters 1? Unless Hunted Cow wanted people to bot freely then its Hunted Cows 1 botters 0.

    3 - Play another game then? Oh wait, I see you posted on the Aura Kingdom thread, seems you think that is too grindy too? Well the instant/easy gratification you seek can surely be accomplished by just botting? Oh wait...

    The number one of the leaderboard should be the one who spent most time, played the market the best and made the most orders for people. Not the person with the biggest wallet.

    The balancing issues can be fixed without a wipe, but the economy can't be fixed without a wipe.

    I got about 200 games installed, I'm fine bro.

    Also read my Auro Kingdoms reply :S I just said that I would've tried it if it wasn't so much grinding like other people said it was.

    And on number 7, do you call me an idiot, or yourself for not reading 7 before replying? I said nothing at all that would mean "hunted cows 1 botters 0" so please explain how you think so :S

    *This is dead on true, I paid for 2 founders packs ($60 total, I had high expectations), was very excited to play, even got 3 friends to play with me (They all quit)...     Definately true, you CANNOT craft in this game and intend to get higher level without purchasing sacks because the inventory space is tiny in relative to the amount of materials you need to collect to do any leveling in the crafting.  I benchmarked the following and then was completely over crafting.  It takes 1.5 hours to collect 1k copper ore and 500 coal, then it takes another hour to make the copper bars, then it takes another 30 minutes to craft one item over and over again selling over and over because there is not enough inventory space ( I had 2 large bags, and a founders bag), so about 3 hours later, you can get about 1.5 levels in armor smithing at level 11.  I quit crafting...  Most boring crafting system ever, and the most grind I have ever done.

    For fishing at level 20, you would need to click on around 4000 nodes to level to level 21.  Even when botting this, its insane!

    Still this requires you buying at lest 30 sacks to make a dent.

    Quests started out great in the game until they became chores.  Lets not forget the most important and horrible part of the questing system.  Every tier you go up in questing, they REQUIRE you to level your gathering skill or buy the mats from a player or you CANNOT progress in the extremely LINEAR quest lines.  Well, due to population being below 100 90% of the time, finding someone to get the mats from can be a challenge so your left leveling your gathering skill, SO.... you find out how boring it is and you stop and you  cannot quest.  

    The other problem in the game is that you run out of quests and you cannot find anymore until you get to the next level, this starts happening often at level 22.  You run out of quests and the common answer I get from everyone in game is to go grind on mobs till you hit 23... NO THANKS, BROKEN!

    There is no way to get to level 40 in crafting or gathering without a bot, it would take hundreds of hours of your time sitting there gathering and crafting, to do this without automation you would have to have literally no life at all.

    PVP is horrible....

    I am so sad I wasted 60 bucks on this game, it had so much potential...

    Sorry Arkangel32, I also thought this game had insane potential, but once I got banned for criticism I gave up on that.

    Hope I can prevent people from wasting time and money with this post because this game feels like a huge scam to me.

    Theres no warning or anything that after level 20 you have to grind your ass off....

     You can only make one character, and have to pay for more. Having multiple accounts is against the rules.

    He never said he was botting.

    There are many bugged quests, especially at higher level

    Ive been playing Eldevin since launch and consider it superior to Runescape. So glad you botted and got banned.  :)  Let us hope they keep catching the botters in this game.

    First you were telling everybody about your "high IQ" and about your ideas how the game HAD to be, calling people idiots because they didn't agree with you or simply have other interests in playing games.  Who is the one who obviously can't stand criticism? The Hunted Cow team or you? 

    Then - when most people had enough of your constant spamming and whining in chat and blacklisted you - you started to insult people in EU and US chat, calling them amongst other things "stupid factory workers" because they seem to like the game as it is.

    Now when you got banned for CHEATING (using bots as you freely admit) you come here and start crying and whining like a little pussy? 

    Oh come on, where is your "high IQ"? Why did you get caught then using your "simple scripts"?

    I think you are simply a narcissistic "attention wh..." ...

    Why would I need proof? I know what's going on, don't care about what other people think. You are probably the lowest person I met on the internet so far and that says alot. You can't say that botters are losers when you bot deluxe yourself.

    Glad I never showed you my bot account, because you wouldve backstabbed me hard.

    Also, I don't sell currency for forum gold on d2jsp like you do... Which is probably even lower than botting because it destroys the game really hard.

     

    And to everyone else: Yes I was being an asshole ingame, because you really were really really brainwashed by Hunted Cow and had to see the truth. And it actually helped alot.

    There is no way to get to level 40 in crafting or gathering without a bot, it would take hundreds of hours of your time sitting there gathering and crafting, to do this without automation you would have to have literally no life at all.

    8: No comment about the PvP

    PVP is horrible....

    I am so sad I wasted 60 bucks on this game, it had so much potential...

    Double click object = harvesting

    Tab 1-2-3 = combat

    Select item + click create = crafting

     

    Prefer tetris

    Being a botter and getting banned only says good things about a game to me. Nothing else you said really means anything once you admit to that.

    I only came here because Lagenia linked it on the d2jsp forums saying:

    And I was like, wtf are these guys retarded? Only devs or new players couldve voted that...

    Looked the dev names up, and all came up as member LOL

    And yes I did pay for this game when I just started because I thought it was really good and had alot of potential. And then I tried to get level 16 leatherworking and I tried to level up my combat level with only like 20% xp from quests and the other 80% I had to grind with tab 1-2-3 x 3000 :S

    Made a topic with about 10 valid points and how they should fix it. It got removed within 15 minutes and I got banned saying I violated the terms of use by posting it :S
