currently the population is so low that whole alliances(multi clans) can not wield more then 60 people on each side.
what does that tell you about the game?
That population is down. No one argued against that fact. People argue about WHY. Some think it because the game isn't like DFO enough while others claim its because the game made the same mistakes DFO did. But who knows.

It's mostly siege performance. Like i always say and it still bothers me when i see that, when you run darkfall, it runs 3 darkfall processus at the same time. Some say it's an attempt to support quad core machines or what ever, but no matter what, sieges that contain more than 40+ players won't work in DF UW.
You now need a beast computer to run darkfall with a decent amount of fps in most scenarios; the dumbest move AV did with this game. In big sieges, everything delays at the point where its not playable at all.
1. 40% of the right half of your screen is blocked off by some semicircular white mess of something.
2. The rest of the screen even at 720p is so blurry i can barely see anything, much less appreciate the siege, so the names of who still is playing, read your chat to decipher things, etc.....

Maybe if you have a computer built with 3-4 year old technology. I have never had a problem with siege performance aside from ping, and my ping issues happen because I'm in Korea. Mid grade computers run DFO find in large battles if you are the attacker. There are siege preformance issues if you are the defender because of crappy coding, but those typically cause ping issues, not FPS because, for whatever reasons, AV decided to send damage done to stones and people entering and exiting your holding to the client even if you have system messages completely disabled.

Yeah I know, I suck at making videos. That grey thing disappears after a few minutes though. Don't know why it was only 720 when the last time I tried recording it was 1080. Also don't know why it got all pixelated like that. Will try and make the next one better.

Regardless, its still fun and the best game like it out in the market right now. Besides, the servers can't handle bigger fights anyways.
