I cant get in the game help!

in Dark and Light

I cant get in the game because it keeps giving exe error. When I open the game it says your charachter can not be found contact with support. Does it happens to anyone? or is it just my error? if you know the solution please tell me

    If you get the dnlg.exe error when you start the game up, then you need to go into your SOG folder, then into your profile, the name of the character, and then SOIC and delete the "ks" file.  That usually fixes it.  The server gives alot of random messages but I don't think it would delete a character unless you just made it, game crashes and it hasn't saved.

    Never ceases to make me laugh every time I read a "solution" to an SoG problem.  The fix always involves the deletion of one file or another.  Needing to delete files ...that isn't a good sign of the quality of coding last time I checked.

    Even as poor as Windows operating systems are, it would really be a bad sign if the fix to every problem was "Oh... yeah delete that darned /c: ... It's always causing problems."
