Kingdom Under Fire II: English Language Beta Schedule Posted

MMOG.asia has announced the Kingdom Under Fire II English-language beta schedule that will kick off on January 23rd and continue through January 26th. The schedule includes the times when servers will be online and, according to Steparu.com, there will also be beta events ongoing throughout the testing period.
Kingdom Under Fire II Testing Schedule
Kingdom Under Fire II, developed by Blueside, starts Beta Test in Singapore and Malaysisa by local service partner MMOG.Asia. This Beta Test is targeted for gamers of Singapore and Malaysia and begins on 23rd January 2014. Blueside also announced that there will be Kingdom Under Fire II CBT for North America and Europe shortly.
Kingdom Under Fire II will run a pre character creation event on 21st ~ 22nd January, before the journey begins on 23rd ~ 26th January 2014. Game server is open from 18:00 – 24:00 (GMT+8) daily during the Beta Test period.
There are also a few Beta Test events available for this Experience Beta Test. Players can fulfill the requirements of each event to obtain different rewards during the game commercial. Some of features which are currently under development in Blueside are not implemented in EBT version.
Servers will only be up during these certain hours.

I managed to snag my beta key, it took a bit of work navigating to the facebook page adding a couple of 'friends' to like my posted link to gain my beta key. I wonder if ill be able to shive past into the servers, without a proxy.
I just cant wait for the NA/Europe CBT! ...sneaking in the CBT! =3
There has actually been 4 before this. Kingdom under Fire: The Crusaders was my first, and was a console RTS/Hack & Slash game. It was great.

I was able to get a key by using GoogleFu.
At first I had to jump through too many freaking hoops via FB crap. FB can DIAF.
Don't use that one website that let's you enter a daily raffle for a key after liking this, liking that, tweeting this, tweeting that etc.
The last step was making a mmog.asia account and I'm downloading now.
So excited for this, but I keep my social and gaming life separate. I don't support their use of facebook, and will have to give them the middle finger for pushing it on us.

I couldn't agree more. I was going to give it a try, but it puts me off so much when companies try to push this facebook shit where they basically want you to bug your friends that probably don't give a damn about this game. It's a shameful tactic, really..
Ehh, I just went to their facebook page and sent a friend request to 5 random people posting "add me for a like", got my key, and then unfriended them. Pretty simple, took me 10 minutes maybe. What I'm more irked about is it's an "english beta" at primetime in....china. Sure, it's a chinese company, and they want to keep an eye on things, but the east coast is 13 hours behind the times they are stating. 5am until 11am kinda stinks. Worse if you're on the west coast.

you can either add a fake account, or add random people on the page, claim, then unfriend them
you don't have to post anything on your timeline, you just need 5 friends

sadly, it's true
they announced it on the last minute yesterday that the EBT will be for SEA players only
however, it seems that the block isn't implemented correctly, as there are several non SEA players still can login and SEA players themselves can't login
i for one able to login without problem and made my character
moreover, they only said that players out of SEA would not be able to participate in this EBT, perhaps you guys can still hope that they'll release the block at OBT/official launch
here's the full announcement on facebook yesterday:
"We have been hearing numerous feedback from players especially those located out of SEA, that they have been facing difficulties in downloading the full client, even with the alternatives we provided. After thorough test and analyzation made on the connection, we believed that it's due to the international connection barrier that players are facing.
Concerning this barrier that would not enable players to experience the game to its fullest and poor user experience is never our goal to achieve nor the developer Blueside as well, therefore we reluctantly made this decision whereby players out of SEA would not be able to participate in this EBT.For those out of SEA, please be patient and stay tuned for the CBT launch soon coming to your regions. you may follow closely on kuf BS fan page http://www.facebook.com/kingdomunderfireII for the upcoming CBT news updates."

...So basically they made this last minute decision, because a couple of people outside of SEA region cannot download the full client? Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit. I already downloaded the game! ;( I'm going to cross my fingers and hope to still get in *-* *sniffle*
All cause of a couple of people <_< the rest of us who have downloaded it and are waiting get screwed.
Edit: Yep....USA Blocked.....I was able to create my character for the beta yesterday.
Fucking bullshit. wow. What a gigantic middle finger after sharing the link with others, and all that work to obtain a key.

Kingdom Under Fire II Beta Test was supposed to run without any restrictions, but due to numerous complaints regarding technical difficulties when trying to download the client, MMOGAsia decided to limit the access.

i have a feeling that they have no idea what they're doing lol
I tried connecting with VPN Gate (freeware) but I was past the time for char creation.
Give that a try tomorrow if you want.
Characters can still be created for tomorrow though. (I Think...)
We shouldn't have to stoop down to a third party program to get us past servers, that was originally advertised open to everyone for many days. Hopefully they will revert this 'problem.' by the time the beta opens.
