So i haven't played an mmorpg in about 4 years, i'd say i'm pretty casual and get most of my joy through the community aspect of the game. (good population, friendly people, events that make you WANT to group, nice environments to chill ect) So far games like rift, gw2, tera and so on have interested me and i'd like to know which of these or any others u might suggest has the community im looking for based on your own experience.

I'd say LotRO might be a perfect match, maybe check the Winterstock thread under LotRO's subforum.
In Rift the community is good, but I've played only a few months alltogether during the years so I have only limited experiences.
GW2 and Tera, I couldn't bear those for more than a few days (ok, in Tera's case make that a month, until it expired). In GW2 the community was almost non-existant, nobody talked, everyone played their own solo game (it was a few months after launch, so maybe it's better now). In Tera, you will wish if only the community would be mute and non-existant like in GW2... it's so bad. Imagine a lot of unmatured kids, the worst kind, and drop them in one room, that's Tera
Play Rift. They have an amazing F2P model and a good community. Graphics are alot better then Lotro. Pvp is not balanced. Endgame is pretty good. There is alot to experience as a new player in Rift while leveling. Trust me, Play Rift.
I intend to, i've watched the reviews and it seems like it might be the one, is there any server you would recommend?
Faeblight. It says its an RP server. Very light in the roleplaying aspect. You can find an RP guild if you want that.
Warhammer was shut down last month.
