LF game for me and the girlfriend!

So I'm looking for a game her and I can play, she is relatively new to gaming period so I'm looking for something simple, with exploration that is f2p.  I don't really want completely linear quest hub, but something you can go off the path and just explore. It could also be a game that isn't an mmo but has multiplayer, but mmo's are fine, does not matter.

 

Maybe only other thing is if it has decent graphics, she said she would like something to look pretty nice. Any suggestions would be appreciated guys thank you!

    You might want to give Lord of the rings online a try.It has nice graphics and is free to play.

    It's quite simple, free to play, can exploration iis a plus. It's in no way linear unless you keep doing the same thing.

    has a great quality of grapichs :)

    uhm i honestly do not know what to recommend right now anything feels like a questhub grind atm. Wish i could help ya but i can't. Maybe GW2 but that is just a questhub grind in disguise :)

    TERA: Has great customization and is generally fun, and the graphics are pretty darn good. It has a good open world, with quests you both can work on together. (Grouping) ;D

    It's a great F2P game, that should impress! ^w

    Can't think of any game atm that fits the bill(a f2p non(completely) linear, with exploration and decent graphics(lotro is not it btw)).  Only some older ones with uncharted waters probably being the most recent and therefore the best looking.  Albion and the repopulation are meant to release soon and I think both f2p, but could be a bit too 'hardcore', you'd have to check for yourself.

     

    Some of the older f2p games that could be worth looking at are

    planeshift, completely free but not very good graphically and can be quite heavy on the rp.

    Anarchy online, has everything you want except the graphics, but an update is in the works, unfortunatley has been in the works for some time and no eta yet as far as i know.

    Ryzom, usually referred to as a sandbox wow free to a certain point.

    If you're into shooeters warframe could be worth a go, a co-op game and a good f2p model

    If you want a hack n slash path of exile seemed pretty decent and also a good f2p model.

    For two players there is nothing better than vanguard.  Games generally have solo monsters and group monsters.  Vanguard on the other hand doesn't really have solo monsters past the midpoint -- it is practically made for duos.

    Aion: best customizable character generator out there. Looks great and has a large female population. Downside is pretty linear. F2P is quite good.

    EQ2: best crafting, entertaining stories, cute characters, large female population, nice houses to decorate, and vast amount of content to explore. Downsides is graphics are not the best. F2P is pretty solid as well.
