Marvel Heroes: Latest Patch Brings Bovineheim Zone Online

The latest patch has been applied to Marvel Heroes Online. With the update, the Bovineheim zone is enabled in addition to new Cosmic Terminals and a comprehensive revamp of both Captain America and Hawkeye.
Marvel Heroes Game Update 2.14 - features:
Bovineheim – Somewhere in Asgard, Skrull cows are lurking and plotting destruction. Brave the frozen tundra of Bovineheim and defeat the nefarious Skrull cows to foil their plans!
Cosmic Terminals – Meant for the most experienced Heroes, Cosmic Terminals represent some of the most difficult content to date in Marvel Heroes along with an enhanced chance for cosmic loot.
Hawkeye and Captain America Design Review – Captain America and Hawkeye have received comprehensive Design Reviews, granting them exciting new abilities and build options! Use Captain America’s new Ultimate Power to assemble the Avengers for massive damage, and use Hawkeye’s Ultimate to fire a Pym multi-arrow that rains flammable oil to the ground before igniting a giant Avengers ‘A’ across the entire screen.
Kate Bishop Enhanced Costume – As a member of the Young Avengers, Kate Bishop wore this costume and took the name Hawkeye to honor the (at the time) fallen Clint Barton. This enhanced costume features all new voice over, emotes, and animations!
Additionally, later this week Nightcrawler *BAMFS* his way into Marvel Heroes. Look for more information and video on his release by Friday, January 31.

Too bad Hawkeye still sucks. Ah well, only so much you can do with what amounts to a guy with a bow. Hell, he doesn't even really fight supervillains anymore in the comics, and instead focuses on 'normal' crimes.
Oh, and I second the opinion of Blix. The game has sucked away 350+ hours of my life already, and probably will many more. I regret not buying a founder's pack now. Then again, how could anyone have known that Gaz could pull off such a complete 180?
Even as a big D3 / Blizzard fan, I can still say that the team over at Gazillion has done five times as much in 7-8 months than Blizzard has in almost two years. Plus they're not backed by 13 million plus ~$60 box sales, and not charging for new content such as Asgard.
Game has ~500K players, and growing. Even if every one of us purchased the $129.99 advance pack, that's $65 million gross or so 'theoretical'. Impressive, but peanuts compared to what Blizzard made from their box sales which, even if you take off a million people or so who got the game as part of the WoW 1 year subscription deal, still amounts to over $720 million gross 'actual'. Plus that's not including collector's editions (such as mine, which I don't regret), and money made from RMAH transactions.
Blizzard, you should be ashamed of yourselves. You're getting shown up HARD by an F2P game for God's sake, and even I'm starting to feel a bit betrayed here. GET. IT. TOGETHER.

Did you play him after this patch? They did a review of him and changed some powers. He now even has some AOE heals.
I did a bit. Don't get me wrong, he's better now, but still dies easier than heroes like Storm when I play him, and that without the massive DPS / firepower Storm can bring to bear on her foes. Hawkeye does bring more group utility now though, which will probably make him more in demand when raids are introduced (Raids? In my ARPG? Yes please!).

Not fair to the game, it was lackluster when it came out, but now it is SO MUCH better!

Solar, agreed. I just started playing Hawkeye as Kate Bishop and things like the Twin Pym Arrow (health and spirit regen) "help" or are "required" </shrug>
I'm the same as alot of people, played when it was first released and it was pretty boring.
Came back in the last week or so and have been having a blast, playing Hawkeye, but it's still alot of fun. The fact that they actually had an event to celebrate Australia day is just icing on the cake, first time I can remember any US game celebrating that holiday

Aaaaand next up for release is Nightcrawler... Reports from the testserver say he is awesome fun to play and very mobile, as it should be.
But yes... Cow level... can´t do without it. =P
