There is a good reason as to why most beta keys are either too expensive or that its hard to get one, all friend keys are tied directly to the person who gives them out, so if someone uses a friend key and gets banned the person who gave them one will aswell, so I doubt many people wanna take that chance with strangers.
Your hype is noted! Myself I feel the same way for TESO, but I would like to try Wildstar. I'm one of those crazy gamers that likes more then one game. I hope it works out for Wildstar, incase it does not work out for TESO. Anyword for release yet?

Spring 2014 is all they've said so far, and a few weeks back they said they are still on track for that.

Keep the hype in check...
I hope this isn't a precursor of it's player base.
Of course it is! If there is one thing this forum has thaught me, it is that you are free to extrapolate whatever you want from a signle post, and then claim it as full consensus about a game, a scientific fact!

Yes, my hope is documented in the American Journal of Science!
Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.
I'm also extremely excited about this game. I wish I was able to play right now.
But as someone said above me, it could be a blessing in disguise, and in this case I feel it is. Keeps me excited about the game, super excited. Can't wait to play it whenever I get the chance.

Without saying too much beta has not made me less excited
It's just that so far everything I've seen is just ok to me.
1. Artstyle, very reminiscent of a game I would have liked to love but wasn't able to because the publisher was too greedy and the population of the game wasn't bleeding like it had taken a zweihänder to an artery and that game is Allods Online.
2. The skillbar, I was for a long time a very competitive Guild Wars 1 player and I always loved that having a good build meant something more than having +5% in something but actually having different skills that synergises together. Even though it had a bunch of skills that were pretty much useless because flatout better versions existed I still liked getting creative with builds (Kinda like YuGiOh or Magic: The Gathering). The sequel, Guild Wars 2, was a huge dissapointement to me because of how dumbed down they made everything and replaced the intricate skill building by traits which goes back to the old 5% better things. Wildstar seems to have a much greater skill choice pool.
3. Sticking to what worked without trying to be fancy, I fucking loved old mmos. I loved everything about them. I love grinding.

Duly noted.
And yes, I couldn't agree more. Never before has it been this difficult to get into the beta, I'm quite intrigued by this to be quite honest.
However, one might consider it being a blessing in disguise. The less time you spend in Beta is more time spent in game at/after launch. (Probably)

Agreed.
The OPs choice of words doesn't bode well for those who may also be hyped. I hope this isn't a precursor of it's player base.

The hype in strong in this one.
Hype leads to expectations. Expectations leads to disappointment. Disappointment leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.

Without saying too much, I agree with you.
The customization clip blew me away.
