I would like to thank this game. It is the first MMO that...well got me hooked on MMO's.
WOW, i thank you for all the long nights i have had playing this game.
I thank you for the huge world you gave me.
I thank you for all the massive expansions you have produced.
I thank you for the all the dungeons, raids, and good ol pvp.
Thank you wow.
But it is time for me to move on. See, their are two new MMO's out soon. TESO (the other being wildstar but meh). What it promise is almost to good. Real time combat, any class can wear any armor and use any weapon. Even 1st person combat!
Wow, you will always be in my heart as my first and still favorite MMO, but i think its time for me to move on. Or at least try to.
I will try out that new MMO and if i dont like it i will go back to playing Wow.
I know how much hate this game gets now days. To me its just fine and will always be a great game but i just want to test new things for the past years this was the only PC game i would play. Period. I will keep playing this game until TESO comes out.
So, for one more time i will say:

I'm playing WoW until 4 14 2014 ...when TESO releases. What was the second mmorpg you were interested in?
Well, not to long ago i tried to play guild wars 2.
It was okay but i found my self going back to WOW in a matter of weeks.
I also play rift, dc universe, lord of the rings online from time to time. But barely.
Its funny. I so badly wanted to like WoW. It is the only MMO I have given multiple chances. But I never could play it for more than two weeks in a row, before going: "Meh". To Blizzrds luck I am a minority.
Good luck with TESO, i hope it goes well over there for you, i know my son's are looking forward to it. The thing about TESO which it has going for it is that like Warcraft it has a rich history to draw from, but my only concern is that these days many will know the Elder Scrolls through Oblivion and Skyrim.
So the big question will be can they satisfy the sort of traditional MMORPG crowd and the console crowd with this game, will be interesting to see, especially since the latter crowd are not generally used to a P2P model. Interestingly they have set the price point of the subscription exactly the same as WoW which could be regarded as a statement of intent for the crowd they are looking to attract possibly?
It must be Thursday, i never could get the hang of Thursdays.
