Not too bad if it actually launches. And if they do not reach your funding goal you aren't charged anything.
I might do this, simply because of the epicness that was EQ (and to some extent Vanguard despite Brad's struggles as a CEO). From what I have read the plan is for Brad to be the CCO and hopefully they bring on someone to run the business side.

25$ for a game you will have forgotten all about in 4 years, and by then they've probably had 4-5 kickstarters.
This whole crowdfunding thing is even worse than selling alpha access.
But don't mind me guys, it's your money, go throw em away, go! :P
Yeah. And if you're gonna crowdfund, at least crowdfund for something new and exciting that's never been done before. Don't crowdfund for the same old stuff we've seen year after year that never gains any huge ground.

$25 or more
(DISCOUNT PRICE WITH BONUS) Fallen's Special Pledge - (This is a STAND ALONE tier not included in the tiers following it.) Digital copy of the game (including 30 days of game time) and late beta access.
Its honestly a good deal, what mmo can you get including access to beta for 25 bucks?
Any mmo worth its salt should be like a good prostitute when it comes to its game world- One hell of a faker, and a damn good shaker!
Not gonna make it:

Certainly not unless something changes. These usually get a big boost in the last 24 hours but their current pace doesn't look like even a big boost would be enough.
Still... there is a long time left to see what game changer they can bring to the table, if any.

Don't be so sure.. I'd happily pay $25 now for a concept I enjoyed in the past and really miss. Nobody will replace the older games but that doesn't mean those experience can't be replaced with new, more awesome ones..
someone is on the wrong side of history!
$25 US dollars is a very reasonable price point for a digital copy and month's worth of subscription if they are going to have a subscription based business model in this day and time. That's a very wise update of their Kickstarter and a solid first step but the core issue for me at least remains. They simply can't put together a game i want to play without raising nearly 7 million dollars to fund development and there is no point in buying into Pantheon otherwise particularly when its at least four years away from launch. They simply didn't bring enough to the table for me right now and I don't want to be the fool soon parted from his money. I need to see returns early.
I think the Boogie2988 interview was a good step in getting the word out. He rocks and so does Mr McQuaid. I hope he can secure more interviews and bring something tangible to show off. They are almost half way through the kickstarter now and on track to make less than half off the $800K needed to fund the initial development costs. I really want to see them find a way to make this happen... But it is in their hands.
25$ is a decent price. but the 800k isn't even going towards the game. other than allowing them to set up a studio and pitch the idea to serious investors. it says so in the faq.
$25 is a decent price for a beta slot.
Why do not increase the numbers of the $ 45 pledge which was quite popular and sold out ages ago?
I don't understand, it doesn't make sense to me.
