When the game went F2P tbh i thought that was it, but they actually managed to turn things around, and the game is fun to play, its not my main game and i only play a couple of times a week at most, but it is fun, and despite everything im still subscribed to the game. And no matter what time it is when i log in (shift worker!) there are always people around, that seems to be pretty healthy to me!
I am subbed, but this and planeside 2 are the only F2P games that I spend money on, in the cash shop
sorry but i think most people would love more content story were not interested in pvp im certainly not so your gonna have to pull your finger out otherwise your big so called impressive title will be on my shelf gathering dust.
for the most part i mention swtor to new people an the first thing they say is its rubbish swg had it right now there not my words but im not going to fully agree but i cant disagree as we were promised free roaming space just like swg had it an you gave us world of warplanes crap instead
Well I left TOR 3 months after launch because I was utterly dissapointed in almost every category besides the story and companions. Even without these features progressing much, if any at all, the game's outlook is a hell of a lot better than I thought it would be at this point. It's obvious they struggle to release content with their current developers compared to what was planned at launch, but they are at least trying.

Isn't this the first news item about SWTOR with more positive comments than negative and I mean like 90 % of the comments are positive. Now that must be a first ( after launch ).
As to the road map well it does sound cool , new story arc , 2 digital expansions this year ! ( gulps ! ). Also I think maybe the xp cap will go up around the new tier mark ( here's hoping ). Those 4 new flashpoints too , Tython and Korriban , can't wait.
Overall very promising .

Which expansion ? GSF is free today for F2P players and the old expansion is free if you subb for one month.
