MMORPG was invited by BioWare to a press event showcasing their upcoming full launch of Galactic Starfighter, the digital expansion for Star Wars: the Old Republic. The event included a livestream with developers presenting content and answering questions.  The event was hosted by DebySue Wolfcale, Senior Director of Marketing, and featured Senior Producer Blaine Christine, Lead Designer Michael Backus, and Producer Jack Wood.

    I would love to see a Flashpoint or an Operation that allows us to use our Starships for certain parts.  Ground to air interaction overall would be ideal for PVP and PVE with either the use of starships or more likely mini flying mounts that have their own set of combat abilities.

    Would have enjoyed better PvE space combat myself. Maybe some actual exploration like Eve. Obviously on a smaller scale since Eve is a massive game in itself.

    SWTOR, the space game in which you place a space game. This is disconnected spacecombat with the rest of the game felt for me in SWTOR. As if I was playing some oldschool arcade spaceshooter onboard of my spaceship.

    i kind of like the GSF first few matches i was meee but now. i do it daily. its also a great way to lvl alts :)

    Agree fully with you. I love Swtor, I'm happy with it as it is ... but would love to see some kind of fly mount. For the rest, I prefer single avatar to control and i'm not even minimally interested in some space combat with ships.

     

    I just hope some true expansion with new planet(s), possibly new classes, races, ... is planned for future.
