Pretty much every MMO test I've been in (excluding maybe 1 or 2 out of 30) I have always been able to use the beta install for launch.
Think about it this way:
ESO Beta Patch Feb - Patch 1.1
ESO Beta Patch March - Patch 1.2
ESO Beta Patch April (Launch patch) - Patch 1.3
You just need to take your client up to patch 1.3 and you're done.
Well reason Im asking is I just got a BETA invite but have already digitally pre-ordered so wondering how it was gonna work.
I would think that it runs like every other beta, in that once the game is released ( or in head start ) you will enter your retail key on your ESO account page to maintain access after launch.
The first rule of Beta is that you can't say you're in Beta.
The second rule of Beta is 'don't go to the most popular mmo site on earth and announce you're in beta'

Im NOT in BETA yet as I have not accepted the offer yet...........so Im not actually in the BETA and therefore have disclosed nothing against the rules.

What does this have to do with this thread? Great first opening account post. To the OP, though most games don't require a clean install from beta, I would recommend anyway.

Despite what you said, look at the bottom of the beta invite email. Use the credentials to get on the forum. I have been on the forum and haven't been able to create the beta account yet due to whatever bug on their webpage.

That depends on what stage of BETA you're on. Let's be fair, if you participated in the first beta after alpha was finished, but haven't touched it since; chances are that you will need to re-install with a fresh client.
However, that being said, yes; most games don't require a clean install from beta. However, that is normally because they had a large Open Beta just before release, which is more or less advertising and stress testing.

The short answer is that we do not know yet. They will make an announcement regarding this subject near the official launch and early access date. Typically you can simply update the beta client but there have been enough exceptions to the typical that I wouldn't rely on being able to do so.

Thanks. Finally an intelligent answer.
Its not against ESO's NDA to say you are in the beta.

Actually they changed the agreement a weekend beta ago so that you can admit to being in it. But not a lot more.
