Kingdoms Under Fire II is one of the readers' most anticipated titles.

You really need to look at your own forums and check with people who use your site because there are probably more than half a dozen games more anticipated than.

Tip for future check your own forums check your own hype meter you might have more of a clue.

Well I couldn't careless if anyone else on this site is anticipating its release, I am and that is all that matters to me. The negativity on this site seems to be getting deeper and deeper.

The forums are pretty brutal. I played KUF1 it was fun imo. If they can pull this off it will also be fun and something I am anticipated to see come to fruition. Funny story, my brother in law played 2/3 the way through KUF1 and was struggling in a section as I watched. I said why don't you use Regieners berserking or whatever it's called? He replied with, "what?" I said hold down the trigger for about 4 seconds. If you played you know how he goes into ass kicking mode. The look on my brother in laws face was priceless once he found out he could "berserk"

I played in the Malayasin CBT and I can definitely say it's possibly one of the funnest games out on the block so far. It definitely more themepark than sandbox and many of the areas are instanced. Each area has your hero/general playing solo doing the run-of-the-mill quests (collect X, kill Y) which culminates in a coop (up to 4 players) battle where the storyline is pushed further and your use of troops (your role of a mercenary captain) in a psuedo RTS/TPS mode is enabled. PvP is feeling like the main draw, since the PvE while well done is still really scripted and linear. The mercenary company meta-game (upgrading and diversing the 5 troops choices) with dozens of unit races and a dozen unit types should be a blast to play. I'm really really excited to see what the next CBT reveals.

When you've done something right, no one will know you've done anything at all. -Unknown

"<x> is the most-anticipated title of one of our readers"

    or perhaps

"<x> is the most-anticipated title of some of our readers"

    But to claim

"<x> is one of our readers' most-anticipated titles"

made me go and look at the Hype Meter. Thankfully, I wasn't unpleasantly surprised.

Spurious claims like these can be used to preface any review or feature about ANY game, because someone somewhere is surely dying to play any game you care to mention.

Well, what are they supposed to day? "Kingdom under Fire II is one of the titles most of our readers' don't care about"?

"Kingdom Under Fire II is one of our readers' least anticipated titles"?

Oh no wait, that would be stupid.

Tip for the future: I know it's a stretch to ask this of anybody these days, but use some common sense before complaining about something, especially something so trivial.

AN' DERE AIN'T NO SUCH FING AS ENUFF DAKKA, YA GROT! Enuff'z more than ya got an' less than too much an' there ain't no such fing as too much dakka. Say dere is, and me Squiggoff'z eatin' tonight!

Or not mention it at all? Credibility is kinda importent for organisation with business model resolved around providing news. It's that common sense thing again.

"Berserker has a huge bastard sword"

    I'll be playing Berserker then.

    ....

(ok I know it's the name of actual sword type)

Yep, once I checked the HM, I lost inclination to take this article or game very seriously. Oh well. A less gushy intro would have been more appropriate and made this sound more intriguing.

The comments were just pointing out that there are a lot of games coming out and this game is probably not very high on most people's lists as it has not had very much publicity at all.  They were just pointing out a fact, not being negative at all.  If they were bad mouthing the game, that would be negative, I did not see that at all in their comments.

As I said before in another thread, this site or Western gamer in general, prefer Western games. They don't even bother with Asian mmos, well most of them (yes, I'm generalizing). This game has a unique system which combine RPG + RTS, which I consider new in MMO genre. However, it still doesn't get the attention.

Will keep an eye on it, if I remember, not sure how this will play out....But as others have said, first time hearing about it myself.

I guess you guys were not here when this game was 1st announced. it had about 9.5 hype meter score. currently it is not but once upon a time it was. and this game looks far more innovative than some game people are even paying 100$ to get into alpha test.

Boobs are LIFE, Boobs are LOVE, Boobs are JUSTICE, Boobs are mankind's HOPES and DREAMS. People who complain about boobs have lost their humanity.

lol ok whatever, they were there criticizing grammar and hype meters, not interested in the game from my point of view.

I'm not that Kingdom Under Fire, and to be honest, I've only played one of their titles and kinda dislike it due to how... hard the missions are.

Maybe it doesn't get hype because Western gamers finally realized the chance of a promising game in Korean beta ever making it to a Western release is like 10% and even then it's usually 2-3 years after release in Korea, hard to get too hyped about those prospects.

I think we need a LOT more information if articles are going to be released.

After reading as well as even those that CLAIM to look forward to it,i got almost NO information on this title.

All it looks like to me is another rts, control some troops and try to win the battle, nothing unique what so ever.So the spokeman needs to make a better effort at convincing me/us/everyone that this game is different.

There was no talk at all about PVE or the MMO idea other than sounds like pvp rts only game. This would hardly fall under the MMORPG site since they already have an RTS site.If there is a PVE MMO aspect to the game, how come NOTHING at all was mentioned? or asked?
