How far is too far?

As I look through this forum I am dismayed at the lack of anger within the community about their recent preorder announcement. In fact, I see countless people actively trying to defend them! So, I just have to ask, how far is too far?

You essentially have to preoder the digital collector's edition in order to get the full game! That's an extra $20, on top of the subscription fee, and there is a cash shop to boot. Furthermore, the subscription money will likely be pocketed! Future content will likely consist of nothing more than a few small patches of things which should have already been in the game!

The pooch has officially been screwed! This is more shameful than dungeon keeper being nothing but a game of paywalls! At this rate, it won't be long before MMOs look like mobile games! So again, to all the defenders of this game, how far is too far? What do they have to do to lose you as a consumer?
