a lil help here pls

in Lineage 2

hi i just bought the game and i was wondering if picking a dwarf would be a good choice. i was thinking of being a artistan. and a lot of people r saying that u all most have to buy money for the game. how much is a good amount to buy?

    You need to read through this board then do a little research about L2 on some other sites bro. Only people who do not understand how the game works buy money. If you "buy" money now, you will just need to "buy" more later as you will not learn how the economy works and will run out.

    TIPS - Make a character you like, get to level 20, do your first class transfer, save up everything you find, get out of the starter area, learn the economy, find a guild of people you like and have some fun. Just like any othe MMORPG you would try.

    Things NOT to do. worry about money lvls 1-20. worry about buying good "No Grade stuff". Worry about PvP, its a total waste of time to think the noobie PvP on the starter island is part of the game.  

    You "buy" money, you are doomed to not like L2.  Just play the game.

    As far as level requirements for weapons, dont worry about it, you will not be able to afford anything in the D grade range for awhile and you cant buy it in the starter areas anyway. But to answer your question, items have a grade, D for example. You need to be lvl 20-40 to use it without penalty. You could use it before but you will hit like crap with it.

    Dwarfs are harder to lvl from 1-20 than other races because only skills that help in fighting that they get are Weapon and Armor Mastery but you do get spoil/sweep(spoil before attacking monster, then sweep if monster changes colors) and you also get crafting(but crafting NG is not really worth it unless it is top NG).

    Well Artisan craft items (obvious) And they are not very good at combat but THEY CRAFT ITEMS (Armors, weapons, SS) And ppl buy those you know, So If you wanna make some money then pick the artisan, if you want to fight monsters then pick a Human>Rogue>Treasure Hunter

    I like playing while I'm drinking heineken. :P
