A resounding no. I'd probably play if it were free to play, I would not play if it were buy to play and I definitely won't has a buy to play with a sub. There are much better games out that I'd rather spend my money on.
no longer at the age that have plenty time to play video game. so its nay. i'll looking for 2P or F2P game that i can hop on for 1-2h fun without worry about anything
I put Yes. It will launch before Wildstar and WoD expansion, so there's no reason for me not to be there at launch based on what I saw this weekend. I like the game. Will it hold me beyond a few months? To be determined...
maybe after the game is out for a bit and i can see how the pvp is i might change my mind. but as far as what i have played i wont be spending money on it. not even if it was buy with no sub.

So, no unless it's completely free to download, install and play?
There aren't many games like that out there, especially at launch. And there are absolutely ZERO out there offering what TESO is offering. So, good luck in your search.
First beta I was in, I was unsure until I got to about level 10. At that point, like in Bill Murphy's article, something clicked and I started to see what makes ESO different to other MMOs. I think it was the presentation of the quest stories and the 'less' linear questing (still linear but with a number of options at each stage). I'd decided I was definitely buying it when that happened.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
I am a no. My biggest gripe with this game is that grouping seems almost an afterthought. This is Skyrim with other people playing next to you, but not with you. I play MMO's to group with friends and accomplish goals that cannot be done solo. I am also not a fan of them having a box price, a monthly sub and still with aspects behind a pay wall (and I can more than easily afford the price...it's principle).

a big +1 on this ....not being able to complete quests as a group is a GAME KILLER
When you buy a car, you look at a long list of features, safety, performance, bells and whisltes, how comfy are the seats in the dealership, what gas mileage does it get? That's the PR from the MMO company, and the materials they release to type the game.
Now, you take the car for a test drive. Does it accelerate like promised? How does it handle? Do you like the way it drives on the freeway as well as in town? Does the radio actually get reception? That's the beta testing. Now, imagine you don't get to do the test drive on the roads yourself. You get to have your friend do the test drive and tell you about it. You also get to drive it, but only around a small oval track behind the dealership.
Finally, based on that information, you are asked to pre-order your vehicle. If you don't pre-order, you can't get leather seats or the extended capacity gas tank... those are only available to folks who pay early.
Once you get your shiny new car, you discover that the radio only tunes to one station. The CD player is broken. The seats that felt comfy for a few minutes really hurt your back after a few hours, and the air conditioning blows mildly cool air at you. After driving for a while, you notice the wheels wobble, and the engine sputters. The dealership promises all these things will be fixed soon, but no they can't give you a loaner, and no you can't get a refund or exchange.
In fact, there is no warranty at all. To add insult to injury, not only did you pay the up-front cost (box price), and the price of gasoline (subscription fee), but you had to pay extra to get a set of keys that would open ALL the doors, and hubcaps.
That is the typical release state of an MMO these days, and I don't see TESO being any different.
Voted no. Will have to see more of the game to convince me this is going to be any good. Not a huge fan of the combat system. I'll be keeping my eye on it once I see some pvp vids/streams, it's going to have to be good to get my interest.

This feels like a bug to me. You can help someone finish a quest if you are on a different step than them and you can work together to do open world quests. If this was intentional don't you think we wouldn't be able to zone into other peoples solo quest zones at all?

I consider TESO to be about the quality of a SWTOR or Rift and I wouldn't pay for either of those games either. I'd really rather just revisit Skyrim to be honest which I already own.
Definitely on the fence, my opinion changes regularly mainly because there is nothing else around i want to play but the paywall on the Imperial race coupled witht he subs fee and a cash shop is a major turn off.
Expresso gave me a Hearthstone beta key.....I'm so happy

maybe i'll stick with console.
Wasn't impressed with what I've seen in these 2 days so for me no.
I might check it out when they add conjuration or dark brotherhood.
after trying the beta i have to go with no.

Conjuration is already in the game. You mean necromancy?

Imagine, for a moment, if MMO's were like cars.

That's why I voted No.

I really hope Zenimax fixes this by launch.

I asked ingame no one responded thought conjuration wasn't ingame.
Still I doubt you could conjure weapons to fight with that was why I wanted to play as them.
Will get at launch for sure.
All the bitching and moaning on the forums has me thinking about buying the collectors.
This way I can be "exclusive" and distinguish myself from the peasants.
