Well, to reduce it (im just guessing) they need to largen the servers, not player wise, size itself. Final Fantasy did it, World of Warcraft did it, but it just takes time. And the Admins are the ppl who get on the game and ban ppl. The Programmers do the lag reduce, i think they just have other things to work on so they dont get to lag reducing. Its ok and kinda in control, but someday, it'll be gone, or somewhat...
I like the game well enough, but i quit it for one reason only, when my 3 day bronze premium ran out i couldnt log in at prime time, so the game isnt truely free2play, i thought it was fun and all just not worth having to pay to play just to be able to log on during the only time of day i get to play

Thi game is great for a free game. But if you are willing to pay buy a good game like daoc, or RF online is lookin pretty sweet if u can wait like a week till it comes out

hehehe, I think KnightOnline is a regular game.. the screenshots on the website are much nicer then in the game itselve but beyond some lags and bugs it is really a nice game

I don't deny that it has glitches and everything, but it WAS a very nice concept for a game. I can't log in anymore, thanks to some invalid data tables, but when I was able to play it it had some formidable graphics for a non-cd enhanced game, and the gameplay was progressive and multi-optional, which you don't see as much on free internet games anymore. Some examples that I've played are ToonTown, where you get 4 different character appearances but no differentiating occupations, and Runescape, with only 3 differences, which mess up if you're not a pure.
Only Play this game for free, never give k2 Networks your hard earned cash. The most likely thing is that they will keep your money and fail to give you everything they promised. If all goes wrong don't be afraid to file a complaint with paypal, I did and it and it worked fine (In part due to the fact that their customer service is so lame that they never even bothered to reply to paypal's inquiry, which meant that I won by default). If you are ever tempted to buy their "premium" service, save some xtra 15 bucks and buy any other game, be mindfull that customer service is nonexistent in this game and if they ever reply it is most likely an automated message. Besides that, the game es laggy, if you don't have premium service you'll have a hard time loggin in, the game crashes every 2 hours, you are always getting disconected and they are always deleteing your hard earned items, coins and even stuff purchased from their powerup store, yes, stuff you have actually paid for, no refunds here, no explanations either. Remember that you cannot complain so whatever they do to you, that's it, you're done for. The game is constantly being hacked and so are accounts, so its a security issue as well. They have released 116 patches since its initial release and every 2 days a new bug will show up. Looks like they are running the servers using Celeron Computers with Windows 95. Remember, if you play this game, do so at your own discretion and whatever you do, NEVER EVER BUY THEIR STUFF, mark my words, NEVER, if ANYTHING goes WRONG, well, I TOLD YOU SO. The only positive side is that if you are Turkish, this game is for you. In fact, I would rename it Turkish Online, most players and clans are from there, but you will have to learn the language. knight online isn't a role playing game for me. there is no one making role at the game. just action. fight, fight, fight getting upper levels then war begins and fight again. it is like a chat programme with fighting.
This game is good and free. But silkroadonline is much more fun and are free to. So if you're looking for a good free morpg you're all wrong. Play silkroad insted.

Forget KO, it's already an old buggy hacked obsesive compulsive excuse of a game. VERY OLD...
I played this game for about 6months and had a lvl 56 warrior and lvl 43 Rogue, It was a good game to begin with, before the K2 patch, but in the end what drove me insane was the lack of in game policing, the huge amounts of hacking, duping, twitching, glitching, trade spamming, and very rude immature bed wetters who went around KSing the hell out of ppl coz they couldn't figure out why they could not be partied up in an already full party. Not to mention the huge amount of lag due to internet cafe users.
Oh and I almost forgot... the large amount of Turkish abuse, now i'm not a racist, and I did meet a lot of good Turkish players in game, but the majority, would treat u as if u were a white woman ordering a drink in a muslim bar.
KOL had its day, but it got out of hand, and so I moved on. I hear it has improved its defense on hacking and duping etc, but its too late for me, I've moved on to bigger and better games with a huge improvement on community
Incidently for the first 4-5 months i played it, i really enjoyed it, and played it almost 24/7. I even ran 2 accounts on 2 PCs at one point.... I believe it is a good beginners MMO, but there are far better games out there, with a much nicer community to boot, and non-corrupt GMs
they should have called the 2 episode patch "Goodnight Online", and the hack shield should have been called "Hacked Off Shield", coz it never let u in the game. And what type of hack shield requires u to switch off ur firewall and antivirus????
dude i agree what he said that WoW and Gw is better then this game but.. its free dude like its just like WoW but worst(better races, classes, skills,talents, etc...)
